Walking

An Angel Reminder: If in doubt, take a walk.

The best way to change the chemistry of a situation is not by taking a chemical but by taking a walk. Walking is one of the best ways to think. Your body is busy using energy so that your mind can sort things out in a reasonable way.

Walking is great because we do it so naturally, and we can always find a nice place to stroll. Walking gets us out of the house and out of our minds. You can use a good walk either to think or to release yourself from thinking, to exercise and to calm your nervous system. The angels love to take walks with you; it is a great time to get to know them. Next time you have a disturbing thought pattern, go out and take a walk with the angels. When you come back your perception will be changed, and so will the situation.

Walking with the angels is easy. Simply go out and start walking without any real destination in mind. Ask your guardian angel to lead you. Feel a force of energy coming from your solar plexus that leads you along; you follow. As you are led, allow thoughts to come and go. If your guardian angel is walking fast, then think fast. If your guardian angel slows down, slow down your thoughts and notice the beauty around you. Most of all, have a good time and remember there are no set rules. All you need is a willingness to get out and let your legs move you forward.

An Angelic Reflection: I will walk and talk with the angels.

Daily light on the daily path.

MORNING

Let your speech be alway with grace. Col. 4:6

A word fitly spoken, is like apples of gold in pictures of silver. As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear. Prov. 25:11, 12

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Eph. 4:29

A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. By thy words thou shalt be justified. Matt. 12:35, 37

The tongue of the wise is health. Prov. 12:18

They that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. Mal. 3:16

If thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth. Jer. 15:19

Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, see that ye abound in this grace also. II Cor. 8:7

EVENING

Thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes. Psa. 26:3

The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. Psa. 145:8

Your Father which is in heaven: maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. Matt. 5:45

Be ye ... followers of God, as dear children; and walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savour. Eph. 5:1, 2

Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Eph. 4:32

Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently. I Pet. 1:22
