I am curious and haven't seen any posts yet.  What will happen when msn closes the groups?  Will this group just cease to exist?  Or are you thinking of moving it somewhere else?

I am sorry, I had posted on the off line chatrrom board but not on the general board, where I should of put it. Yes the group will still be around. I will be moving it someplace else. We have been testing several places. I think I have found a place that will be our new home, and I am working on it now. But it is not up and running yet, it still much work to be done to it yet, as I'm have to rebuild it. There are a couple of things I still need to work out on it yet. I am trying to find just the right place for us. I can not find a place that is like here, trying to get someplace close, but not haveing any luck so far, so trying to find one that won't be to hard to work with. Wish me luck lol.
Love & hugs!

Wishing you much good luck in finding just the right place if you are seeking a free one!  There are options and options and none are like this.

I agree, Aimoo.com is user friendly and will archive all of the site from msn.  I have a small group on msn and am moving it to aimoo.com.  Check it out.  They do all the work.

If you migrate the group to Aimoo, the migrated portion from here - all the posts and such will be public accessible, and even accessible to google and other search engines.  the only way to move any of this site to there and keep it private would be to copy and past the posts to the new group at Aimoo.  I just found this out, and I have my group at Aimoo.  I was going to migrate the msn group until I found this out.  Once it is migrated, they can remove it from your group, but getting it off Aimoo's server is a much harder job.

Thought I would share this with you .

((((Kasa)))) Thanks for the info. Not sure I understand one thing how ever. Do you mean that At aimoo it's an open group there? Or that we have to be an open group here for the transfer to Aimoo? I do know that we have to be an open group for the transfer there. If Aimoo is an open group, that is a probelm as we want to remain a closed group. We will not be transfering the message board, well I will be transfering the medical boards. That will be a probelm if that isn't transferd. However I do have that board backed up in another test group so I can transfer it over with no probelms. Please advise on the questions that I asked. Thanks a bunch.
Love & hugs!

The group at aimoo can be a private group while you transfer information and for all the time you have the group up and running.  And access to every board is individually controlled to allow access to only certain individuals - group members, advanced members, moderators, aimoo users, anonymous users -  and controlled by the owner using a permissions form for each individual board.

You have to open the group here for them to scan it and migrate it.  They scan the entire site, boards included, for the transfer to aimoo.  I would suggest you transfer your medical info on your own to an info board and avoid the migration tool completely as I am doing.  The thought of posts being read by just anyone on the web is abhorent to me.

If I missed something, please ask again, and I will try to answer again.
