Mexican Wedding Cookies
1 c. butter{no substitutes please}
2 c. flour
4 Tbls pwd sugar
3/4 c walnuts or pecans-ground{very coarse ground-use pulse}
1 ts vanilla
Mix all of the above together with a mixer, first it will look impossible just keep mixing eventually after about 2-3 minutes it will come together to form a semi-stiff dough.
Work into walnut sized balls of dough, bake at 350 on a very lightly greased cookie sheet for about 10-15 minutes, they will look dry and a bit cracked
{these will not spread, just poof a little so no need for 2 inch spacing}
Remove from oven and roll in additional powdered sugar while still warm
