Well there it is! That's my reward for getting through 120 lessons, lol.

We enjoyed our day with Daviud and Marilyn, our DIL's parent were there too which was great as we have known them since before Marilyn was born. We used to live opposite each other when first married and we remember them adopting their son just before we moved elsewhere. By then we had the two girls but Jean hadn't been able to have children. A couple of years after leaving Marilyn was added to the family. Imagine our surprise when David introduced us to her parents!! They have been a couple since he was 15 and she was 13; they married soon after her 18th birthday and her parents (and a lot of people) said they were too young but they have been married 28 years last July. David has never had eye for anyone else, he dotes on her. They now have three grown up children and three grandchildren. You will have seen their photo - Joseph, Bethany and Charlie. Charlie is 8 months and is on his feet and feeling his way round the furniture already. We didn't see them yesterday, there were just the six of us, we had a lovely lunch and sat talking for over three hours after we'd finished, still sat at the table. Conversation never flagged and we covered such a wide range of topics.

I have been running spy-bot on my computer over the last few days and it takes ages. It keeps saying it cannot get rid of one virus )Cosmos) and can it run again next time my machine is switched on but it comes up with another couple which it deletes and this Cosmos. I've had to say no the last time as I can't spare such a lot of time unable to use the darn thing.

Ahem! Joke of the day coming up: Lizzie receives a Christmas present from an old flame. Inside is a pair of panties. Above one leg-hole, the embroidery reads: Merry Christmas, and above the other leg, the stitching says: Happy New Year. The gift-tag message reads: I hope to come and visit you in between the holidays.

The lesson for the tag below was called Celebrity Square, I think the squares are a wast of space, lol.

Joan glad you have had a good break yesterday and sounds as if you relaxed.

Well as you will have noticed board is so quiet I did not get the front page or weight done yesterday will do it later.

I am feeling better than I did at least I did not go down on floor this morning.

Rod is still far from well and hardly eating.

Hope every one is doing well and may get on site today.

Welcome back Joan, sounds like you enjoyed your day. It's great to have a good lunch and linger over the table nattering. What a lovely story about your DS and DIL too. Your tag may have squares, but you are no square!

Well, its day 5 of my latest attempt to shed a few more lbs and I think it's working. but only WI on Thursday will tell whether it has or not.

I've done my gym class this morning and I'm going into town on the bus later if the weather holds. It looks a bit murky but it's dry at the moment. Will have another look in later today.

Joan glad you had a lovely time with DS, DDIL and family. As Linda says it is nice to

relax and have a good natter after a lovley meal.

Carole do hope you and rod are feeling better soon. Stay put and keep yourself warm.

Linda hope the gym was not too hard going. Good luck with your weigh in on Thursday.

I've had a lazy morning in so far as I went to the Church centre for a coffee and a natter with my friends then home and had soup for lunch and now I'm going to visit the arcade.
