Why does this exist? Are we not adults? What ever happened to talking to work out our problems? We have 2 women where I work who are not speaking to each other, a stylist who has been there 4 months, and the manager. The problem is when the manager has something to say that could be critical to an employees actions or habits, she will blame someone else telling the one that she needs to talk to that the other one said it. She has always done this. Everyone says she needs to get a backbone, and now calling her a coward behind her back. What is really embarrassing, is that clients hear everyone talking. Am I wrong, or is that bad for business? I would rather someone come to me and tell me what I'm doing wrong, rather than feeling uncomfortable thinking I'm not getting along with anyone. The newer stylist who is fighting with the manager says that at the salon she came from which is across the street, there is fighting worse than this going on all the time. The same one that she said that I would make more money over there if I brought my clientel. No thanks! I don't like to fight, and I prefer just to work and keep mostly to myself. I wish the district manager would come in here and settle all of this, I don't like to work in a hostile environment.
