Hello Cole,
You have a lot more company than you know... Christmas is pretty hard when, for whatever reason, we find ourselves alone... I am 53 and I am alone this year... I don't have anyone to cuddle with on Christmas morning or someone to go look at the Christmas lights with so I know how you are feeling.
It sounds to me like you've decided to love someone from a distance. That's always so much harder than breakups when 2 people can hardly stand to be in the same room with one another... Even when it's "for the best", it doesn't lessen the sting of the memories or the grinding of having to readjust literally everything in our lives to see life from one set of eyes after spending a while looking at life through two sets...
This was a tough year for a lot of us as you can see by this particular forum... For some reason, a lot of us were suddenly forced to go through some very real hardships and some godawful heartaches... We've all had to find our own way to cope.. the one that works best for us... BUT... we've done it together...
I could suggest sooo many names for people who are absolutely awesome to talk with but part of the beauty of this group is that everyone is awesome to talk with so take your pick. There are few of us who won't try to keep your spirits up until you feel strong again.
If you're feeling blue, I will be here a lot over the next few days and I would be more than happy to have a gab or two with you on Messenger...
You are among people who understand and people who care... Merry Christmas Cole!
Luv n hugggs,
Silken
