Hi Everybody... Can you believe we're already into June??? That makes it 199 days TIL CHRISTMAS!!! I say we enjoy the good weather while we've got it (IF we've got it that is..). It's still really cool here on the Island even tho' when you look outside, it seems sunny and nice... Open the window for any length of time and yer barefeet will turn to blocks of ice in a skinny second!!!

I've entered June working out my notice time to my current bosses but I have also now had one day in my new firm. It was okay and I think I'm gonna love being able to run down and dip my toes in the ocean on my lunchbreaks...

Some of us have been talking about missing our wonderful chat evenings. Remember that folks? When we spent the occasional evening just laughing, teasing and talking about so many different things that we had sore sides when we finally said good night? Some of us miss that real-time chat... yours truly included... If you feel the same way, I will be happy to open up our chat room again and act as your always quiet (YAH.. RIGHT... ) hostess on occasion.

I know that our forums remain quiet but I am thinking that maybe part of that is that people actually DO like being able to talk with one another in real time... So I will wait to hear whether or not any of you want me to go for it...

In the meantime, don't forget to keep us alive by popping in for a laugh or two and remembering to say hi...

hi all june already wow where has the time gone. hope everyone is doing well as i think about you all from time to time. as for weekly chats i would so love that as i am not working shift work any more at least not at this time but who knows that may change again. hopein your june is drier then mine has been. take care iamyuman

Hey all! coco signing in for June!!!

Hergman here.... Calgary's having the wettest June in about 3 years (you may remember that one, Silk), and the frequent cloudiness isn't good for anyone's mood.

Under normal circumstances, I would be happily playing bachelor for the summer again (think Tom Ewell in Seven-Year Itch), but my lovely wife still hasn't completely recovered from the after-effects of her winter flu bug. So I'm getting to enjoy her while I've got her, and my trip down east is getting pushed further back.

I'm still tiring myself out from stretching myself too thin; a nap sounds real good about now....

Hi all, guess I'm a bit late signing in but at least I made it. The weather is crappy here just north of Winnipeg as it seems to be everywhere. I want some sunshine darn it (not chosen words)! We had a funnel cloud touch down a mere 3 buildings from my work on friday. I didn't see it as my desk faces the other direction, way too close for me! I have been busy studying for my Biofeedback Certificate. Right now I am doing Anatomy and Physiology, not fun at my age but I am trying. I hope everyone is well. And Silk, a chat night would be great.
