You may of notice I added a couple medical widgets here , and why I added them is why I'm posting about FM. I've kind of thought it was Chronic Fatique Syndrome for a year or so now but when my symptoms got worse .. I started researching and when I used a widget similiar to one of the ones I added .. I discovered (hit me like a brick!) that what I'm suffering with is indeed Fibromyalgia. Maybe before when I was searching I simply didn't want it to be .. but the last two weeks have been the most painful in my life! I didn't mention it .. I figured you'd think like I did .. it's all in my head and I'm just getting older .. well .. .. now I know getting older shouldn't be so painful! I'm posting about it now because I've decided to make this a Public battle instead of a Private War a war I want to fight with the help of my family and friends (all of you) It's only been a couple of days since I found out and yes .. I've made some changes but improvement will take at least 4 to 6 weeks .. so ... I gotta be patient and that's really not in my nature lol. I don't ache as bad as I did  but remind me the next time I say I'm going to sit down with a Bottle of Wine that it's not worth it .. ok? Soda ... Caffiene .. alchohol ... aspirin ... potatoes ... tomatoes ... green peppers ... blue berries .. to name a few things I gotta learn to live without (I'll keep saying to myself "is it worth the pain?" ) those are few things I but a theres a whole lot more too . So the last couple of days I've been taking Gingko Biloba which may help with Fibro Fog and I'm learning to space my activities throught out the day (I'm clueless how I'm going to work and get everything at home done) If there's anyone else here with Fibromyalgia ... Please speak up .. I could use all of the support I can get

It's been a couple of weeks and yes ... I'm seeing a BIG improvement over how I'm feeling . Learning what I can and can't eat has been trying at times until I figured out that the more the food is processed .. the more chance it will effect me  .. badly. So I'm going "trial and error" each day and one thing I can say good about Fibromyalgia is .. when you eat something you shouldn't .. it doesn't take long to find out you shouldn't of lol. I've also started my Vitamin regime again , a good multi-vitamin daily supplement is essential!Did you know that most Fibromyalgia suffers has been clinically proven to low amount of magnesum (spelling?)in their bodies? So I try to pick one that has it in it .The symptoms of this kind of deficit is achyness for one !and it's not proven but low amounts may be attributed to "Fibro Fog" . I have also started taking Gingko and Ginsing and a multi essential oils cabsules with have the omega's which is also needed . I use to be such a health nut that I knew what I should and shouldn't take .. so don't just jot this stuff down ... check with your doctor first . Slowly I'm noticing my energy plus zest for life is returning ... which is a Good thing .

Your Welcome Tessy! and one of the first things I was told by another (FM) sufferer was "Getting older isn't suppose to be painful" and that's when it struck me that this pain was not "normal" .I'll be glad to find more info on this Tessy . My problem is I can't spell worth a darn and I don't want to steer people wrong lol. Did you know that over 90 percent of "FM" sufferers have a low precentage of maganese(spelling) in their body? and the top symptom of this is a Craving for chocolate? Which in turns ... makes us ache!  My sister w(who also has "FM" told me a couple of years ago"if your having trouble sleeping .. eat a piece of chocolate .. it works like a charm " and it did! Now I know why..lol.No more chocolate for me and now that I take a good vitamin which has maganese in it .. no more chocolate cravings! Process foods are a big enemy , caffiene ,chocolate, soy products and some have trouble with Dairy products . I'm finding out it's not all dairy products for me .. but sour cream is a big no no . Caffine ... I shouldn't have but I still have one cup a day , going cold turkey isn't reccomended for anyone.. oh the headaches! Speaking of Cold Turkey .. Lunch meats are REALLY processed so I steer  clear of them . I try to make stuff from scratch these days but every once in a while I gotta "cheat" ... or this diet would be unbearable lol.
