If you have been reading this blog, you'll know that I met my angel in a very startling way. No one told me how to listen to my angels the very first time I connected with them. It was all very confusing and quite overwhelming.
Later, I took workshops and read books about angel communication (like Trudy Griswold's Angelspeake) and found this to be very helpful. However, the biggest challenge I found was simply learning to listen to my angels.
Part of me was scared that every time my angels spoke to me, they were going to have something bad to tell me -- like with the warning they first gave me. The other part of me also still had to learn to trust that I was "really" talking to my angels: it was all very new and different and I knew that most of my friends sure weren't talking to their angels!
Over time, I developed confidence and each time I stopped to listen gradually gained my trust. I am clairaudient, so I actually "hear" a voice when they speak to me (sort of like a whisper). I learned that each angel sounded different, just like each person's voice sounds different. Getting to know how it feels when your angels want to communicate with you gives you more confidence in the process.
So if you are new to listening to your angels....or if you are starting again, be open to learning to listen. Even if you don't actually hear a voice, they will communicate with you in some way. Simply being open to their communication helps them connect!
How do you listen to your angels? What do they sound like?
