Great divine spirit,
     we ask for your blessings and grace�?
We ask that you will be present in each of our hearts tonight
        we are calling forth our angels, guides, friends and loved ones on the other side
        to join us, guide us and surround us with their spirit.

We know that we are all connected with each other,
      through the love of the divine essence.
May we be guided and protected in our circle by the light and the power of God.

Tonight I am going to share with you, some of the fundamentals of psychic development and spirit connection, as I teach them I my classes.

At the foundation of spiritual un-foldment and connection, is the belief in a higher power, a supreme intelligence, God force or spirit presence. It is not necessarily a religion, but a conscious awareness, of such a presence within each and every one of us equally. The recognition of the omnipresence of the spirit essence within each situation, person, life event and occurrence, no matter how joyful or painful it might be.

All that exists is created from spirit energy, and as such, reflects the divine nature of the universal God force. Creating a personal relationship with that God spirit within and around us, is an important step in your effort to achieve spirit communication, one that can be attained through meditation, prayer and spiritual practice.

As a part of accomplishing the goal of connecting with the spirit side of life, I encourage you to embrace the understanding, that the outer success of your spiritual connection will be a reflection of your inner work

As always, the outer life reflects the inner world.

In this case, the outer success of your spiritual journey will be a reflection of your willingness to do the inner work.

The healing of the emotions, mind and body are essential. If one is surrounded by the layers of emotional, mental, and physical dysfunction, spirit information is always available, but can be difficult to access.

Remember that it is your connection with your own spirit that will open the door to the divine connection with the spirit world. From one spirit to another �?that’s how the connection is established. I encourage you to question, discover and explore your belief systems.

Wake up to your patterns, and question the motivation behind your decisions, reactions and responses. Is it really you, or are the outmoded programs running the show? Old patterns of pain, resentment, anger, hurt and grief can be discovered, healed and released.

Emotional energy is very powerful and dominant, and has a tendency to overshadow spirit energy, which is very subtle. Outmoded unhealed mental and emotional energy is toxic. It can block and hinder your system.

When spirit turns on the faucet in order to connect with you, it likes to meet with a clear channel, system and body. The clearer your energy, the easier for spirit to access and connect with you.

During sessions I often see mental, emotional and psychic toxins stored in the body. Not only can this create physical discomfort and illness, but it will also prevent you from reaching your greatest psychic and spiritual potential.

As a medium I strive to be compassionate and loving during my readings, but I can not allow my feelings to control the situation. If every time you attempt to make a connection with your loved ones on the other side you become overwhelmed with pain, grief and hurt, you might not be able to establish contact. The emotional energy will override the spirit energies. It is like trying to hear a needle drop in NY traffic!

It is also very painful and disturbing for the personality on the other side to experience you in such distress, being fully in spirit, they are aware of their connection with you. They can see you as clearly as ever...clearer even than when they were alive. They can see your soul, you essence�?see you in your entire beauty.

This is not to say that you should not permit yourself you feel the natural feelings of sadness and missing your beloved, but try not to get drawn into the pain and anguish. Celebrate their lives and spirits, and accept their existence in the spirit side of life as a very beautiful and natural progression off the soul.

I often hear the same complaint from clients, “I really want to make contact with my father on the other side, I am waiting for a sign, a communication from him, and I am getting very frustrated, because I am not receiving anything!!! My friend however, who barely knew my dad, gets messages from him all the time!! How is this possible? Does he not love me or want to communicate with me??"

Of course! Her father loves her, and would like nothing more than to get through to her, but like in most cases, it is a disturbance in the electromagnetic field that is caused by highly charged emotional energy.

Spirit energy is electrical and electromagnetic.

He is obviously trying to bring a message to her through her friend. Her friend, not being as emotionally attached to the outcome, can serve as a conduit for his energy.

Another hindrance is the pulling of energy from an earth person to a spirit person due to neediness and insecurity.

"Please, please, please give me a sign. I need a sign from you right now!!!"

Such desperation basically chokes the spirit connection, and shuts down all channels of communication. Desperation is fear - spirit is love. Fear is not conducive to spirit communication.

I believe that one of the reasons we as mediums are sometimes more successful than you in contacting the spirit world, is because we are not emotionally invested. We are neutral. just a phone line.

I believe that every time a soul crosses over to the spirit side, those left behind receive a gift. No matter how tragic the circumstances of the passing might be, there is a gift left behind. There is now someone in spirit around you, guiding you, allowing you to access the great divine mystery through their energy.

The love that you share enables you to catch a glimpse of the beauty that resides in the spirit world. Don’t let your fear and grief take that gift away from you. Open yourself to the powerful healing possible when you fully embrace your loved one in spirit.

Heal your guilt, your anger, your shame and your pain. The more healed you become, the stronger your connection with spirit will be, the greater the joy and love experienced by you and your loved one beyond, and please don’t forget that healing continues on the other side.

Your continued connection with your loved one, will help you and them as well, to release your karma, heal your past and become fully emerged in the bliss of the eternal divine.
