Your power base, although sometimes rather airy, is well grounded this month because you have invested time and effort in thinking about all of your activities and how to best pursue them. You are well aware of the needs of your partners, both romantic and business. You have cultivated cooperative teamwork in both arenas, and now you get to see the results!
By the 3rd you can see that your efforts have been worthwhile. By the 8th new opportunities emerge that allow you to begin new ventures with the necessary money you need to see them prosper. What seems like major opposition on the 16th turns out to be an objection that you can manage. Accept challenges and you discover by the 23rd that they were partly bluff and only partly real concerns.
About team effort: you win much more if you work within your team instead of fighting an uphill battle alone. A female offers the key to a social situation you have been dreading. Optimism is on the increase by the 19th when you connect with key personnel to create just the right atmosphere. As you nail down each factor, your own optimism level rises.
The Money Angle
You have to give a little to get a little. That said, you find that you have to spend far less than you first imagined to get all your needs met and have some left over to do what you want. Most of your cash goes in directions that other people can see. Or at least they see what you get for your money. They don’t have to know how much you are spending!
Your intuition can play a huge role in your choices now. From the 1st you get to test your insights against reality. Take a moment on the 10th to compare your insight to the facts. Are you on target? If not, trust your insight and check the facts again. By the 27th you move in a more practical direction where money is concerned. Expect one day this month when you cannot resist a major purchase.
Family
Public outings and social events bring you and your family closer together. Attend church, enjoy holiday music, and contemplate all the good things that have happened for you during the year. Each person will have different takes on events, but everyone can share what pleased them most this year.
Maybe this is the year to write one of those sometimes corny holiday letters in which you tell your friends about yours joys and sorrows. If you are not a big fan of those letters, get some holiday greeting cards and enclose a photo of a fun event your family enjoyed, or a place you visited and fell in love with. The truth is, most people like happy pictures.
This may be the year to have lots of little surprises for everyone in the family. You can keep secrets with the best of them, so you will probably know everyone else’s secrets too. Don’t get nosy!
Friends
Friends become a more powerful force in your life for the next several years. You probably feel the magnetic draw toward a couple of people already, and this will only increase. Take the opportunity as early as the 4th to notice someone who attracts more than his or her share of attention. Is this someone you will want to associate with ten years from now? If yes, do your part now to set the tone for a positive relationships.
On the 13th you may run into a snag when a friend disagrees strongly with a plan you have in the works. Take the time to listen to his or her reasoning. You don’t have a corner on the market of wisdom - at least not yet.
Health
If you have a long-standing health issue, now is a good time to get a checkup and see if there are any different treatments on the horizon. For example, new medications may work far better than those you were given even a year ago.
Take time to meditate. If you find this difficult, check out a variety of contemplative practices. Even walking alone with no particular goal can be very beneficial. Each day you will want to take time just for yourself, especially at this very busy time of year. Do something just for yourself FIRST each day. You’ll be surprised how this effort sets you up for a cheerful, optimistic work or play day!
Conflicts and How to Handle Them
When the “Us Against Them�game gets started, you just want to take off and leave it all behind. The last thing you need, you say, is a lot of meaningless criticism. And you are right to a point. Your psychic state thrives on optimism, not criticism.
If the criticism is coming from your partner, it will help everyone if you stick around, face the music, and at least listen. There is surely a grain of truth in what he or she says about the current situation. Once you have listened, then state your view clearly. By the time you finish listening, especially on the 12th, you may find that your attitude has shifted. After all, at the core you are a basically reasonable person, right?
Enlist the aid of an expert to fix a problem that is beyond your ability. This means anything from a plumbing issue to the car’s engine to a broken heart. Get some advice from a person who has been there, and then apply that advice with a gentle touch and soft voice.
Romance
