Sometimes a feeling is so out of synch with the rest of your life, yet so totally true, that you know you must have a karmic connection to the idea, either from a previous life or from an experience earlier in this lifetime that you have forgotten. Either way, the feelings act as profound influences right now.

Your cash position responds well to creative input. Since you have a lot of creative ideas now, you should find that by the end of the month you are in a better position, not worse, when it comes to money. Of course, this outcome presumes that you spend moderately through the holiday period, and that could be a tough call for a Leo! What you have going for you is the fact that practical gifts appeal to you right now. You don’t need to find the most extravagant items to show others that you love them. Make sure that all expenditures will provide a return on the investment.
For glamorous social events, dig into your closet for a classic, timeless look. Choose heirloom jewelry, scarf or purse to accessorize. Dads, wear that tie a child gave you. Let your partner help you get your look together. Coordinate with co-workers and possibly trade accessories to add something new to your look.
Family
You get a chance to boost everyone’s spirits this month �?even your own! Transform a space with holiday decorations from yesteryear. Develop a focal point to create a new feel for your home. Enlist everyone’s help to decorate and prepare for festive meals or a party. Hint: you can have a fabulous afternoon and evening at home for a lot less than the cost of tickets and snacks at a movie if you pay attention to what you plan. Hint: it may actually be cost effective to purchase pies or desserts, but you can save a bunch on a very good meal by choosing your menu carefully.
You could go for the fancy-dancy china, but then you have all that cleaning up to do. To ensure a relaxed atmosphere, cheer up the table with holiday paper plates and napkins. Another hint: plan a menu that works with paper plates and plastic utensils. Final hint: serve the youngest person first and work up to the oldest. No standing on ceremony!
Friends
Now that you have a plan for a home-cooked banquet, why not let everyone invite a friend? Let each guest bring something to add to the feast and you have kept the cost down while adding new faces and new energy to the party.
Resist the temptation to over-plan the party. Sure, you can ask people what they plan to bring. Or if they ask, you can tell them what you need. The idea, though, is to have fun, not to have everything totally coordinated. If some of your guests are children, make sure you know if they have any food sensitivities or favorite foods.
By now you probably get that this year the holidays are not all about you. They are about enjoying your family and friends in a contented environment.
Health
Your health situation will fall into line if you take care of a couple of simple things. First, avoid or limit consumption of fats. This means smaller meat portions, less butter, etc. You can still have some of everything, just shift toward green vegetables and salad portions. Second, lower sugar intake at breakfast and lunch so you can enjoy that fabulous dessert after supper.
The main thing is to RELAX. Plan each day to allow for a rest or cat nap and you will feel so much more like partying!
Conflicts and How to Handle Them
Problems always come up around the holidays, and often you don’t have the energy to deal with them without arguing or becoming overly emotional. If you would like to change all that, here is a schedule: On or before the 6th, issue invitations and get confirmations. Then add one or two to your total just to be on the safe side. By the 12th, have a solid plan for your budget. Then stick to that plan!
Around the 21st you will feel energy shifting from planning mode to action mode. Wear the right shoes for each activity. Don’t put on the fancy shoes until the last minute �?stick to comfy slippers or moccasins until then. The 26th will be soon enough to evaluate your successes. Call people to thank them again or to touch base with folks who couldn’t be home this year. On the 30th, do a little something special just for yourself. No one else even needs to know, but you may want to encourage others to do the same.
Romance
There is glamour in the romantic picture for you now. You get a hint of what’s coming as early as the 3rd when your psychic senses are on alert. The 13th promises to be very nice, but don’t expect too much. Surprise your partner with an extra little something and do this on the side, quiet like.
