We all dream. In fact, we dream all through the night, and many believe much of the day. But the news is... that our dreams take us to other states of being.
We know that there is a difference between sleep and wake. Many scientists call dreaming a third state of awareness. It is real and special, like dreaming and wakefulness... it has separate properties, rules etc.
I believe that there are many states of being. I have experienced some in my dream state. The question is, why is that important? Many Buddhist's believe that the only people that don't dream, are the enlightened ones.
Our dream state that we enter each night without effort, puts us in touch with the invisible, the non-material aspects of our world. That said, we can learn to incubate our dreams for purpose... to heal the body, spirit or mind, to solve a problem, or even to get an answer to something that perplexes us.
Our dreams are our hotline. You can get there in many ways.... Meditation.... Prayer....
gazing at a beautiful sunset, or a glorious painting.... hearing children laugh.... but the thing is, we dream automatically!
It is built in by the Creator, as is breathing, so that we all have the chance to use it. No class in art appreciation or meditation is required!
Just so you know, I want to go to your questions early tonight. I want to give you all a chance to get heard and answered, so as I am speaking, if you have any thing that comes up, please prepare your question.
I have been doing research on using your senses to assist in the incubation of dreams. I have a special method that is truly amazing. And guess what? As often happens, someone across the world has a similar idea as well!
My book was written about 2 years ago, 'Using Your Dream Power'. It has not been published yet, but the research is on going, and a company in Japan has a machine they call the Dream Machine. It is also, they say, able to assist you in incubating your dreams! It also uses your senses to assist! I am so excited to learn more about it.
Anyway, the point is, that we can learn to control our dreams, and through our dreams we can create our world!
How many times have you had a major life decision to make? You weigh the pros and cons, you ask people that you trust, 'What should I do?' 'What would you do?' but ultimately it is your choice, your consequences.
You pray, and how does God answer? That is a question for philosophers! Sometimes in an intuition, a knowing, and often, many, many times in your dreams!
Our dreams are a hot line. They are separate from judgment, and separate from the filters we apply during our waking state. So, this amazing gift, installed by our Creator is available to all, but so many don't use it!
It would be like having a computer equipped with the Internet, and using an old version of Funk and Wagnall's encyclopedia to get an answer!
Did you know that many people, who are connected in some way, have the same dream on the same night? Did you know that many inventors, scientists, and problem solvers of all types, rely on their dreams to answer the difficult problems? Did you know that Einstein, Edison, Billy Joel and Paul McCartney used their dreams to do the things that they are associated with?
Best news is.... You can do it too! Starting tonight, if you are already using your Dream Power, you can probably enhance it!
Test it.
How? First choose a fragrance that you love, anything that is available, and very pleasant. Inhale that fragrance. Is it a rose, baby powder, lemon grass incense, what smell do you love?
Breath it in and ask yourself the question of the night.... Should I move to NY? Should I take the new job offer? How can I make my family more harmonious? How can I lose weight? What steps can I make to bring peace to the situation?
It works on all types of situations, just like the Internet, it does not discriminate or judge.
In my new book, I show you how to use all of your senses in this same way. Associate the pleasant smell with the question.
Repeat the question as you drift off to sleep. Best if you first write it down.
Set the item that you enjoy the fragrance of, on your night table, or on your pillow.
If you wake a bit in the night, you will perhaps get another whiff. Anyway, the sensory aspect helps you to remember your dream, as well as to get in touch with the answer that is truly your best choice.
