For those of you whom have not seen this show on HBO it is freakin' great. It's a modern day story about vampires coming "out of the coffin" and openly mingling with mortals. The main characters is Sookie Stackhouse, a blonde, innocent who at times seems naive and then other times will blow you away with her wisdom. She also has a little speciality with being able to listen to people's thoughts. Her world is turned upside down when Bill, a vampire, shows up in her place of work and they begin a relationship.
I strongly suggest you all check it out lol
Anywho, the point of this post was to share a video I found on YouTube so you could hear the opening song. I looooooove it :D

Nice Mina, I had never heard of this before. I have been reading the twilight series and am looking forward to seeing the movie. Have you read those books? I don't have HBO but I did just watch a few of the movies on youtube and it looks like a good show. Thanks for sharing and the song you linked too was good too. |

Deb, I'll be watching with you on Sunday. We can go through withdrawals together :) And yes Bill. There's something about his southern charm...and deadness...
Lia, I'll check and see if my local library has them at all. If not now then eventually I will read. I'll definitely be seeing the movie as we'll have to stock up on it for our video store when it does come out on dvd. |

Merry Meet I have been watching too, and taping every episode. Never read the twightlight series, but plan on buying the books for my VAMPIRE collection. Fell in love with the vampires over 30 years ago, got all of Anne Rices' books on the subject (1st editions) and a few others I have come across. When my children were younger (now 27 & 23) my daughter asked me what the 2 marks were on my neck, told her that I was bit many years ago. (marks look like a vamp bite) lol Bright blessings to all DS |

Ah DS, I HEAR you there!!! I have an extensive Vampyre Collection myself!!!
There is something about the Genre/Lifestyle that has interested me since I was a wee one, , , the colour and taste of Blood, the texture/smoothness of it dried on skin! And also the romance and , , , ah , , , IMMORTAL-ness of Them, , , ,
Oh it gets me, really does (you would've met The Witching Hour series then??? They're one of my fav series of all time!!!)

Dev and I went to see Twilight last week-end. It was very good! The theatre was filled with giggling 8th graders. Oooooooooo Edward, he's so hot....giggle giggle ;) I plan on getting the series for Dev for Yule. I unfortunately don't get HBO anymore to watch True Blood. |
