Thank you for responding! I'm still navigating the site and trying to figure out how to post messages, finding discussion groups, etc. I've had weird experiences with a ouija board, and little things around the house after my baby girl died. My husband doesn't really believe in anything supernatural/paranormal, so I can't really talk to him about these things. |

Let me give you a Great BIG welcome to the group. If your "user name" means that you are a nurse at a hospital nursery, you've got to have one of the greatest jobs in the world. I think if God made anything better than those precious little ones, He kept it to Himself. But..... then He looks down and sees we're having too much fun with them and, POOF, He turns them into teenagers. Well now, since you have chosen to join this particular group, I guess it's reasonable to assume that you, like the rest of us, are on the spiritual path. That being the case, you made an excellent choice in Spirit Keepers. The especially great part of this group is that our members, while being all on the spiritual path, come from a wide and deverse spiritual vantage piont. As such, you can learn so very much towards your own spiritual growth. We heartily welcome all points of view and experiences because it enriches our own. The only thing we do not welcome is that, while we're free to personally disagree with anothers perspectives, we are not free to challenge or put down their views. That's just plain and simple common curtesy. You'll find that your fellow group members are really a big family, in the true sense of the word. When one of us happens to be up against it, the rest of us are there with concern, advice, a caring attitude, and yes, even some tears if called for. When things are really special or good in our lives, we want to celebrate with you as well. Not that we're all about business, because that's far from true. We very much and very often enjoy a little chuckle, snicker, or an outright big laugh too. So, you're not only among friends, but family, and we love having you here. So dear lady, roll up your sleves and get involved. Tell us about you, and get to know us as well. Light and love Dear One. . . . . . Paul |

Thank you for the big welcome! I do work in the newborn intensive care at a hospital, and I love my job. It's tough and challenging at times, but also very rewarding to send home a baby who was born at 23 weeks gestation, and 1 pound at birth. One question that always pops up is "Why did we try to save that baby? They will always have problems, be dependent on someone their entire lives, or be blind, deaf, or have brain damage, etc". I have come to the conclusion that since we don't know the outcome, then we need to try to save all of them. Even if they have significant health problems, there is a reason for thier being here. Maybe they are here to teach a lesson to their parents about unconditional love, help parents to stop an alcohol or drug addiction, or any other number of life lessons. Some of our extreme premature babies do very well, so I don't see how we could pick and choose who gets a chance at life. I truly believe every soul is here for a purpose, and even if their stay on earth is for a short time, it wasn't a wasted life. Whoa! I didn't mean to go off on a tangent! Anyway, I grew up in a Catholic family, and through the years, I have searched within and realized a deep spirituality that extends beyond religion. I think spirituality is one's own relationship/connectedness to our Creator. I have a very open mind to other beliefs, and love to hear about them. I love to read about paranormal/supernatural occurences, and wish I could experience them on my own. I have never "seen" a ghost/spirit, but I feel or sense things. Those are some of the reasons why I was interested in joining this group. Thanks! Tina |

Tina, I work with alot of these babies, after they reach adulthood. I know exactly why they are here. Blessed be to that I think that you have seen, heard or felt more then your concious mind can comprehend right now. If you have the desire to be that channel, sometimes something as simple as a thought can open that gate? Are you ready? I think you are :) |
