First up, thank you Jody for your super speedy reply to my little dilemma...

I made it  whoohoo:) Thanks to you and your help!

 

What an awesome front page (!) Well done indeed! I looove it!

 

I was away over Christmas and the New Year and unable to get in to say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. However Im told better late then never - So wishing you all a most Joy, love and laughter filled New Year.

 

Speaking of laughter...

This is something I need a little more of in 2009. I have decided that in 2009 Iam going to find more Joy in the little things, above all in my own everyday life.

 

I have asked spirit to assist me with this, and the following morning I was greeted by my 8 year old singing and dancing away in front of me - in the kitchen of all places. She is my youngest and so full of Charcter - you know seeing this one cannot help but smile - and as I felt the smile come accross my face I felt lighter and lighter inside - almost floating for a moment.

 

Throughout the day memories of the past entered my conciousness - funny moments that made me; yet again smile, and at times almost giggle.

 

I should say that these memories entered while I was busy with work thinking of anything but the past!  After each little episode I found myself thanking Spirit for their assistance.

 

It seems as we get older, we become to engrossed in our duties, responsibilites and work, that we have little time to focus on the joy and laughter in our lives. For myself ... (I was known as the one that always smiled and laughed when younger), laughter and the lightness has become somewhat unknow to me because Iam always so pre- occupied with work etc. To be honest I think that it has come to the point where a good open laugh is almost a chore... it is not an easy thing because duty is always at the back of the mind... lack of time in this ever fastening world.

 

So, making a point of focusing on Joy, on the simple things in life, on laughter is my main goal for 2009. Don't we all feel totally awesome inside when we laugh? Is it not uplifiting and lightening the loads of the everyday hum drum?

 

I believe as we grow our own Joy within our being, we affect those around us. Seeing what has been happening in this world I think we could all use more Joy, thus it will help to uplift the world and bring light to those who only see doom and gloom before us. Remembering that each and every one of us is the creator within.

 

Anyone here looking for Joy this Year? What are your goals for 2009?
