Tonight we'll learn more about the death and dying process and what it is like living on the other side - directly from one who now lives there!

As I do before every reading and every program we present, I'd like to begin by honoring Spirit and asking them to join with us tonight.

Father, Mother, God,
We thank your for this Diving Group of Beings that have gathered here this evening to learn and grow. We ask Divine Spirit that you gather here with us, and be present with each of us in a very special way. We ask that you open our hearts to Your Love, which heals and brings peace to weary hearts. Bless our time together and speak to each of us in a unique way, so that we may come to remember the great beings that we were created to BE. Thank Your for your guidance and help. We pray this in the name of the Christ. Amen

Before anything else is said, here's a bit of  'Truth in Advertising!' When I was 38 and in the depths of unhappiness and depression, I asked God to bring and angel into my life. Within a matter of months, enter one Milt Sanderford. I knew from the beginning this Husband-to-be was the answer that prayer.

Being the spiritual medium, clairvoyant, mystic, teacher and headliner of what Milt calls the Susan & Milt Dog & Pony Show, I'm the one who receives most of the public attention and accolades. Let me say that if it wasn't for Milt in my life, I would not have developed my mediumship gift. I wouldn't be sharing with you here tonight.

Actually, Milt and I co-authored the book 'Conversations With Mama,' with a major assist from his mom Trudy Alcorn. This was His baby from the start. It was prophesied to Milt 20 years ago that the book would be written, long before either of us could spell metaphysical or would even consider spirit. communication as being acceptable by we God-fearing folk! (Fear is the operative word there!)

Trudy was a wonderful person, and I was privileged to have met her several times before her passing at the age of 95. There was a definite connection between us. The first time was during her final year on earth. As I entered her room she stared at me with a quizzical look, and as I was about to be introduced she said,  "I Know You! You are my angel and you sit over there in that corner!" Talk about having GOD BUMPS! (that's what Milt and I call goose bumps)

The neat thing about that statement, was that it awakened me to the fact that we are able to WILL ourselves to be with others, as and when they need us!

Months before that meeting, I began to meditate with Trudy in mind, asking Spirit to allow me to visit with her, and bring her comfort and clarity during her dying process. Obviously it worked!!! It wasn't until a full year after her death that my guides told me she was ready to fulfill her contract with Milt, to help us in our work. Actually on Trudy's earth birthdate, May 16th.

Up until that point my spirit communication skills were still developing, so it was rather daunting for me when Milt shared his intention to write a book with my help, by interviewing his Mom in Spirit. Gulp! The book was to assist those in grief over the loss of a loved one, and those in fear of the death and dying process!

My unexpressed thought to Milt at the time? "YEAH, RIGHT!"

What an experience it was, not that it was easy, but we conducted seven one hour conversations with Trudy on a wide range of topics.

Since our time is limited here tonight, let me share some of what I feel are a few highlights of what Trudy shared with us. After that we'll turn the rest of the program over to Trudy who has agreed to be with us tonight to answer YOUR questions about the after life, and the death and dying process.

One of Milt's first questions was "Mom, what most surprised you when you crossed over?"

She said "I still had to make decisions!!! I thought I was all finished with that and decisions would be made for me! no such luck!"

He asked at one point deep in conversation, 'Mom, as we are talking together here, I so strongly feel "Gee this is my mom with whom I'm speaking, and it really feels like my mom. Her personality, her thoughts and the way she expresses them!' My question is, "Do you still feel like my Mom? Do you still feel like Trudy Alcor?�?BR>
Trudy said, "I do - but I have learned, since making the transition, that I am so much more than that! I am much greater than that! I can represent myself as Trudy Alcorn when needed for recognition like now."

Trudy said "When we cross over we realize our souls, the essence of what we truly are,
that image of God in whose image we are made, we realize how special and amazing we are. Much more than a human personality, or having the characteristics of the human personality!"

She said "Let me tell you, you are not that person you see when you look in the mirror!
You are so much more than that, and you can't fully understand that statement until you return to this state of being, and experience it for yourself."

Milt said "I'm sure your are right mom, but try to give me and example that my limited earth mind can relate to, as to what 'so much more' might mean."

Trudy said " Well, in spirit, your soul can do a variety of things and be in many different places, all simultaneously! Chew on that for a while!"

Milt replied, “What cool stuff mom, but not altogether a foreign thought for me.�?BR>
She responded "My smart little boy!"

Trudy went on "Now you know how Jesus and all those who receive prayers, and requests for help, can easily deal with the volume. In spirit you are not limited with a body and a mind! You can be anywhere and everywhere all at the same instant! Kind of like Santa don't you think?"

I could just see that she had a glint in her eye when she made the Santa statement.

She then added " That talent doesn't jut apply to the special few over here. All in spirit have that capability."

Now this is Susan again. What a neat glimpse of what we can expect when we cross over.
We will reconnect with our true beingness. Our own greatness. Our God-Self. No wonder we get so frustrated in dealing with our stuff here on earth, and most of the time having trouble understanding what it's all about! On another dimension we are much greater than we are here on earth.

One of the questions we are often asked by folks seeking to communicate with departed loved ones is, “Am I holding my loved one back from progressing on the other side?�?I don't know about yours,  but I was always told by my religious teachers that you "Let the dead sleep the good sleep and don't disturb them!"

Trudy says "Poppycock! If there's one thing we don't do here is SLEEP! We don't need rest. We don't have those bulky bodies to carry around. Why sleep when it's not needed? Holding us back? From what? Helping our loved ones on earth is part of our mission. We LIVE for that - pardon the pun!"

Trudy said "We may not always be available, especially when we first cross over. There's lot's to do and lots to learn. We have a life review to attend. We have certain choices to rethink.

"Trust me, if you ask for help, understanding, comfort, awareness what ever, we will rush to your side, and do what we are able to do, so long as it does not interfere with your learning your life lessons."

One final subject before we take your questions. So many folks have sought us out in dealing with loved ones and friends who have committed suicide. We've done hundreds of spirit communication readings in this area, and the evidence is overwhelming, and Trudy has corroborated it for us.

There is no dark place to which they are banished! There is no judgment against them by an angry God. That person is immediately surround by their angels and spirit guides. They are surrounded by light and love. Almost universally, their first reaction is “Whoops, that was a BIG mistake!�?BR>
They also must deal with the grief and anguish they left behind as their loved ones question why, and deal with the torment and pain of their action. They DO learn their lessons. They do love again and feel the Goodness of God. One thing we've learned with the work we do, and that is, we are ALL smack dab in the middle of eternal life, and we will all eventually learn our lesson, and we all are reunited with those who have touched our hearts, and whose hearts we have touched. We hope this has been helpful to you.
