Today a sense of releif that overcame me,

to see my love the gentle man he is to be.

Today came the sense of sadness when the news was told,

that now our hearts are forever old.

 

Today I feel a sense of sadness what could have been,

has now both done away with, the plates are now clean.

Today the tears fall down my face

as I saw in your eyes a lonely place

 

Today I saw for the first time in your eyes

A missing part of you with no lies

Today I saw a tired man ready to travel the lonely roads

where he will roam, threre will be no holds

 

Today my life turned to see that my twin flame has left me,

but I can see from afar that he had to be free.

Today my heart breaks to which I hold dear

for the man I love so no longer near.

and that spirit inside will always be there

Today the world stop between you and I

to finally say our sweet goodbye
