The Last Walk

My heart left me when you walked away,
Knowing inside that your heart is astray
A sweet so long and take care

Love at war is just not fair.

A tear left my eye for you today,
No longer twin flames to our dismay
I saw that saddnes and felt your spirit leave me

Our tree of love no longer in bloom you see.

It is of a broken heart that this all fell
A story one day which we can all tell
Seeing but not being here for what is real

About two loves whose hearts had a broken seal.

Our lives move onto a better place
But to a new mirror where can see our own face
The paths we take will no longer be side by side

Where we should be able to smile and no longer hide.

 True feelings of the heart
 Will not tear us apart
But to deny the heart of your twin
Is most certainly a no win win

Love thyself forever you shall hold
My heart in yours will be of one I am told
He shall find me with all that he desires
But only until our hearts become one of fires.

Walk with me one last time,
As I sit here and put words in rhyme
To a path of unknown direction
Where He sends us under His inspection

 And the four winds blew...
