Magickal Backfire
The day was dark and gloomy
As we walked along the mire.
We did not touch, not even hands
But my eyes spoke of desire.
We walked and saw the doe and fawn,
saw flowers dance in the breeze.
We both, the same, bent over to pick
some fresh sweet peas.
I froze and stared upon you
As you accidently touched my hand.
I knew I was in trouble then
So stood as if in quicksand.
You looked upon me briefly,
A smile on your face
And in your eyes I saw you knew
Myheart was in a race.
We walked a little further
to an opening in the woods
Where moss had grown quite green and soft;
You then reached and took my hand.
Yet in the darkness of this place
A ray of sun shone through.
Should I gallop and run away
or gait and not be shrew?
We sat and talked and laughed
Of unimportant things
And then your had did touch
My face and my body did take wings.
We stared in eyes full of desire
Especially mine for we
Were unalike in many ways
But you had set me free.
You leaned and kissed upon my cheek
A soft and gentle glow
And I fell into a magick trance
Where I did not want to go.
I knew you did have many
But my blood did boil hot.
I believed that only lust it was
And decided not to stop.
A kiss upon my neck gave way
To shivers up down my spine,
And I knew it would not be long
My desires would be mine.
When once my hair came tumbling down
My face within your hands,
Kisses so soft had let to
Wild passion on this land.
Both hands upon my shoulders
You laid me 'pon the ground.
The Earth was warm or was it me
loins sweating, hearts were pounding.
I looked up to the heavens, when
Your breath I felt upon my breast.
Have the gods delivered one of their own
Or was I just enmeshed?
A moment flashed now, should I run
To a place so far away
That even you could not get through
As I felt my soul drifting away.
You loosened up my girdle, my petticoat
So pure and my belly trembled
In excitement as
Your hands became uncoiled.
The touch was soft and gentle
Giving rise to kisses more.
Soon you would be waiting
at the entrance of my magickal door.
You did not need to knock at all
But you lingered just outside.
Your hand caressed the doorway
A silken treasure waits inside.
I opened up the door for you to
Enter in so freely
And there you felt the warmth of the fire
That burned ow quite completely.
You enetered quite so slowly
And I made but one request
For you to bring your magick
There upon my breast.
You thrust your way right past me,
Now I was to know
The swelling of your desires
Upon me now bestowed.
You felt my grip upon you,
Than a smile upon your face
Had told me that my magick
May have finally left a trace.
The boiling blood did rise
In me and you as well.
I felt the ground was rising
yet you could not even tell.
Oh Mother, hear my song,
And thank the gods for me.
The rise of boiling waters
Has erupted within me.
You lay your head upon me
With sweat upon our brows
And even in that moment
We swore to take no vows.
With heavy breath we lay there
Upon that mossy floor
And that is when it hit me
Part of my sould was mine no more.
We walked out of the woods
Now deeper, darker, still
For I could feel your distance
Though you walked with me quite near.
You left me at my doorstep
And I felt like such a fool
For now I was one of many
A thoroughbred of your "school".
I even had a chuckle
As I pictured us you see,
All standing at the stalls
And waiting to be set free.
I realized my magick
Had played a trick on me
And doubled back and hit me hard
Three times more so than thee.
I had not seen this coming
And if I only knew
I would have galloped far away
For lust I am part of your brew.
So I have lockedthe door behind me
And if you should come to call
I will not hear you knocking
Only my heart that has been foiled.
I will not play with magick
When it comes to my heart
For now I can not blame you
For something I did start.
I thought it lust for oh so long
And watching you all this time
Had led me to a tale of woe
That will forever just be mine.
