A couple years ago I realized that when I close my eyes I could see specks of indigo. But after I started meditating (I've stopped now), it looks like an indigo sky with swirling black clouds and if I apply pressure to my eyes I can see other colors forming patterns that are always changing. Sometimes, the shapes look vaguely human (not like shadow people) or like some strange animal but most of the time I can't recognize them. Only recently though, I keep finding myself out of my body and floating there. During these experiences, I'm always conscious and I know it's not a dream and there is nothing but swirling darkness and indigo. Sometimes I see a doorway materialize out of nowhere but I never go through because I don't trust anything I see there. Yesterday while I was taking an afternoon nap it happened again but this time I saw a red hair man and a man with blue black hair fighting in the same darkness. I also find myself in familair and unfamiliar places knowing that my body is not there and have to will myself back into my body. Usually I'm struggling to breathe and when I breathe deeper I find myself back in my body. When I first open my eyes I can see words written in some strange language that fades once I start thinking. It happens all the time and sometimes these black shadows attack me and I can feel my energy leaving me. I told my grandmother and she believes its something demonic. I went to a woman who's supposed to be able to help but she just listens and nods her head but says nothing. Only to meditate and increase my spirtitual abilities. Does anyone have any idea what's happening to me or how to stop it? |

Hello:
First of all let me explain what is happening to you. You are astral traveling. The doorways are portals to other places of learning. The reason that you seen others fighting is because when someone goes astral traveling without a direction, such as the Akashic Records, you go to the lower energies of a specific realm, where the so called demons, astral nasties hang out in. This is also the place where some call "Purgatory"/"Limbo".
If you are going to astral travel, please pick a place to go. A good place to start is the Akashic Records. This is where you Book of Life is held, where you can see all of your past, present, and future lives in. You can also write in your book as well. Everyone has a Book under their name. There is a Guardian Angel there to assist you. Before you go though, have your own Guardian Angel/Spirit Guides travel with you.

| Thanks for the information Leandro. I've been trying to contact my Spirit Guides but I'm not getting a response. I only know that at least one is there from the shadow I see out of the corner of me eye - at least I think he is a Spirit Guide |

Miss Virgo, I am so sorry. I never check here unless I post stories, so I didn't notice your post. I totally agree with Leandro. If I could just add one thing though. You mentioned struggling for breath. Don't be alarmed ok? This is just your spirit self returning to your body, and if your in any kind of semi-conscious state upon re-entry, it can feel like that. Just try and relax, it helps the process. You also say your not getting a response from your guides. You are, your just not aware. They are always with us, or quite frankly, we all probably wouldn't make it through our days. *smile* They are everywhere. From that quite voice of reason from within, to a song at just the right time on the radio. Guides really are very visual and vocal creatures.
