I  want to be able to give you helpful information about earth bound spirits.

Ok, the first thing that I want to tell you is this is NOT THE MOVIES!!!!!  I have never been slimed....I have never seen a ghost puking, AND I have NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER found a house built on an indian burial ground!!!!!They can however cause problems in a house.

If you have children age 12 and under, and you have an earth bound spirit in your house, the kids are going to have upper respiratory problems (ear, nose and throat problems.)

They may end up in your bed at 2am every morning because they don't like their rooms. Adults could have a lot of unexplained headaches when you are home, moodiness, don't sleep well at night, or have bizarre dreams. Earth Bound spirits do not sleep or eat, and they are not on the same time schedule that we are, but what they do need is human energy to keep going, so if all or some of those health problems are occurring in your home look at the energy that they are using.

They can cause electrical problems in a house also, they don't use the electric but they disrupt it. Example.... light bulbs burning out all the time, if one stands close to a TV the picture will go fuzzy, and what do we say? "Darn that cable!" Why would we ever say “Darn that Ghost,�?who talks that way? Televisions, VCRs, alarm clocks....anything electronic they can turn on and mess around with, and they always have more energy the week leading up to a full moon, the day of the full moon, a new moon and the day after.


If you have a male earth bound spirit in your house, you could have a lot of trouble with heating, a/c, and plumbing...these are all things that men (sorry guys!), mess around with when they are alive and they still mess with them when they are dead.

Let me explain to you how I see earth bound spirits and how this came about. My grandmother realized when I was a little over 2, that I could see and speak to spirits. What she didn't realize is that most children can. She started taking me around to go to funerals when I was 4 years old. Every person that dies attends their funeral.

As a side note, I still attend approximately 15 funerals a month for total strangers. The family invites me to talk to their loved one for the last time you know, "Where is the insurance policy... who gets the stamp collection... and where is the key to the safety deposit box?"

I see a spirit the same way I would see you standing in front of me, the only difference is if I squinted I could see through them. I don't have to talk out loud to talk with them, it is all done mentally, which in some instances is a good thing, and language does not seem to be a barrier.

How does a spirit become earth bound? The white light that is around a person when they die, stays with them for approximately 72-80 hours after the cemetery. Most spirits will cross into the white light as soon as the priest or the minister has the final prayer service at the cemetery BUT..... nobody is in the light pulling them, nobody is here pushing them, you have free will when you are alive, you have free will when you are dead and if you don't want to go to the light you don't have to go.

Now, if you think about it, 72-80 hours is really enough time to be snoopy, and go through peoples houses (nobody is going to know you are there), and still give you enough time to cross over. If you don't go into the light before it closes, you lose it and you are earthbound.

There are all kinds of reasons why people don't cross over, for example: A young mother gets hit by the bus and she does not want to leave her children.... A person is murdered, they definitely need to tell someone who killed them.... Suicides, hardly ever cross over.

People are attached to their personal items. Two things that you really want to avoid at auction or estate sale, diamonds or vintage antique cars. I will almost guarantee you that you will bring someone home with you!!

It is also not true that somebody had to die in a house to stay there, they can go anywhere they want... who is going to tell them they can and can't do??.

I will have somebody call me, and ask if they have a spirit in their house. I will say yes.... They will say, "oh that is ok, I am moving in three weeks." Why, oh why, wouldn't that spirit go with them? You can also have a party and an earth bound spirit comes in with a guest, and decides that they like you house better and decide to stay.

Another thing is animals. Animal spirits can also be earth bound. A lot of times, somebody will ask if their dog can see an earth bound spirit if you move in to a new residence with your dog, and there is already a spirit there. Yes they can, but...your dog will think that you belong there, your husband belongs there, your 2.5 kids belong there, and the spirit belongs there. The spirit was there before the dog!

If you move into a house with your dog, and there is no spirit there and one comes in, now your dog is going to treat your spirit as an intruder. On the other hand, and cat can be sound asleep and all of a sudden sit-up and start tracking something across the ceiling.  And what do you do, you go look to see where the spider is, and nothing is there.

Here is a little side note: If you dream of somebody who has passed, they have gone into the light.  Earth bound spirits almost NEVER can get into a dream. Plus, spirits that have crossed over can come back and forth and visit you and never cause problems in a house. Let me give you a couple of suggestions if you think you have earth bound spirits in your house...

The first thing that I suggest have your house blessed by an ordained priest or minister, and DO NOT THROW HOLY WATER AROUND YOURSELF!!!!!!!  It is one thing for an ordained priest or minister to use holy water but not a lay person. The other thing that I suggest is a smudge stick. For those who do not know, that is what native American Indians use to get rid of earth bounds spirits or negative energy.

 

What is the difference between an earthbound spirit, and let's say ..someone's Mother just visiting them from the spirit realm?
An earth bound spirit will cause the problems in the house, your relative or loved that has passed over will not cause those problems.

 

If they have a lot of energy they can do that type of thing, it is not very common but, if they are getting a lot of energy from the people in the house, it is a possibility.

 

Also A lot of times when people are very ill, they start talking to, or seeing relatives of theirs that have passed over.  People who work in hospice have great stories about this type of thing and I think that it is just to help the ill person release.

 

Will having clutter in your home affect what sorts of spirits you attract?
Depends on where the clutter came from. I'm referring more to things you have just collected over the years...piled about the house. Is it from a garage sale?  When you do you do that, you can get the best cake plate for $.50 and also get someone's grandma along with it!
But if Your house is a mess and causeing You stress then that is adding energy that would bring an earth bound spirit in.

I would not be doing this if I thought a spirit could kill me.  They can not stab you, shoot you, or smother you however, if you are running up a flight of steps, they can materialize at the top and scare you so you fall backwards down the steps, but they didn't push you.

If they are perfectly round globes/orbs, 9 times out of 10 those are spirits that have crossed over and not earth bound, so that is good. That is great if you can get pictures with the orbs in it.

Yes, portals can be closed.  And yes, a portal can re-open if there is enough NEGATIVE energy.  But that doesn't mean that they are more powerful, they just open again.
Portals are usually on an inside wall.

 

Do you believe in poltergeist?

I want to clear something up, in my opinion...a ghost, a spirit and a poltergeist or lemur, are all the same things, they just have different names. BUT some earth bound spirits do get more active or ornery to get your attention so that you will help them to cross over.

How would we ask an earthbound spirit to go to the light?

The white light that is around a person when they die is not an individual light, in that it is universal light.  All you have to do is tell the spirit to go to a local funeral home when there is a service going on and use that white light.

They can go to a funeral home where there is a service going on, or they can find somebody like me that can create the white light they lost when they died and release them.

 

YES YES YES YES, you are literally inviting them in to your house.  People will say I only ask for good spirits to come through. If a person was a liar when they were alive they are going to be a liar if they are earth bound. I do more houses because of a Ouija board than  anything else....they are very dangerous in my opinion.
