| - Hands-on Healing .
Hands-on healing is what new age energy healing, Reiki and reflexology evolved from. If you are familiar with any of these practices, you already know the basics of what to do. I fully encourage everyone that plans on using these techniques to read and fully study all the mentioned practices.
Start the healing by going into a very light trance. Focus and see the aura via your
preferred method. Look over the person's entire body, not looking at the body so much as the aura around the body. Look for any noticeably dark or different areas. Some people who don't "see" the aura prefer to hold their hands a few centimeters over the person's body and feel the aura. As they run their hands over the person's body, they can feel rough or cold or some kind of different energy at the area that needs the work.
In any way you choose, identify the damaged area and start working there. The method
I normally use is to draw the energy out of that spot using my hands. I either brush it away, burn it off with incense, or draw it into a stone. The method to choose is whatever feels right for the particular energy. After I remove it, I clear away the area around where it was, like you would clean a flesh wound. Then to fill the hole I made, I'll concentrate and flow energy from the earth to the sky through me as if I were a conduit. After I can feel the full force of the energy, I redirect that flow through the damaged area until the energy is full again.
Sometimes, if the damage is extensive, I won't attempt to remove the spot. Instead, I will just
flow full force energy through the person, the way you would wash a tall cup by running water through it. The energy carries away the damaged area and replenishes the entire aura. I always end healing this way too, regardless of the method I began with.
Physical Touch:
Another way to use hands-on healing is to physically touch the person around the damaged
areas. Let the energies run through your hands and the damaged area as if your hands were leads from a powerful battery. Imagine their body as the conductor of this electricity, and any area they had damaged will be charged and replenished to its best state. Sometimes, massaging herbs into the area will also enhance the healing. Menthol based herbs are very effective for high energy workings.
In reflexology style healing, massaging the correct area on the body will effect a different area
on the body. I will not go into maps of the body right now, but any decent book on the subject will show you this. This method is often used by the Far Eastern world, in such forms as acupuncture, massage, and other methods. I also believe I remember certain Siberian methods like this as well. This is good for physical injuries, like pulled muscles and such. .
