Grief and Loss During the Holiday Season
The holiday season often stirs deep feelings of remorse for those who are grieving the
loss of a loved one. As friends and family are attending parties and family gatherings, it
is all too apparent that someone is missing. The painful thought that “they should be
here?takes over, leaving little or no room for joy or celebration.
We live in a society where many health professionals counsel the bereaved by suggesting
ways of coping with such loss, encouraging separation, and even providing medication to
assist. However, progressive counselors, therapists, psychologists and psychiatrists,
armed with evidence from “afterlife science,?have begun to encourage their patients to
embrace a continued relationship with those who have physically died. They have come
to realize that a belief in an afterlife is perhaps the most effective form of grief therapy.
But how does one “embrace?a relationship with a loved one who is no longer physically
here? The answer may lie with the many scientists, researchers, and medical doctors who
have uncovered evidence suggesting that our minds (consciousness or soul if you prefer)
do indeed survive our physical deaths. This growing amount of evidence has been
accumulating from ongoing investigations of quantum physics, consciousness, near death
experiences, mediumship, reincarnation, electronic voice phenomena, death bed visions,
and other phenomena, and suggests that our minds can indeed act independently of our
physical brains.
Forever Family Foundation, a not- for- profit organization, is hosting an all-day
conference in an attempt to both educate the general public about such scientific
evidence, and offer support to the bereaved. The conference, The Synchronized Universe: Exploring Communication with the Dead, From Electronic Devices to
Mediumship,
will take place at The Woodlands Mansion in Woodbury, New York on November 8, 2008. Noted Physicist, Dr. Claude Swanson and Researchers, Tom and
Lisa Butler of the American Association of Electronic Voice Phenomena, will be
presenting their discoveries regarding this body of evidence. Afternoon Luncheon with
additional evidence provided by various credentialed mediums is part of the program.
