http://www.johnholland.com I am going to jump right in. As much as I enjoy demonstrating mediumship , I also love to teach. We are all born psychic and you will notice kids saying things and people tell them that it is their imagination. Is it?
Not always. I was very psychic as a child and people didn't at the time know how to take me. even my parents. That is why I now teach and my second book explains the mechanics of psychic awarenes. We ARE born this way. I always say that I do not believe God would let us come without a little help.
Psychic awareness is what keeps us connected to the Go force, the universe, the divine... But... as we are all born with different gifts, so it is with our
psychic ability.
Some people are clairvoyant or clairaudient or clairsentient and I will explain them all tonight the best that I can.
Let's begin with clairsentience. This is the inner sense of feeling. How many of you walk into a room and know that an argument took place? Or if you meet someone you know right away if you will like that person or not? Most people who are clairsentient have their feelings hurt easily.
When you are driving do you feel you should have went another way and you didn't, only to see that you were right? Are you the person that everyone goes to when they want to get something off their chest? Well.... most likely you have the potential strength of clairsentience.
Also people who are clairsentient usually pick up other peoples' (stuff). You may be in a great mood and by the time that person leaves you are now feeling their emotions. You have to just protect yourself with white light or just be aware that this person can also TAKE energy.
The best way to develop this ability of clairsentience is to know your CHAKRA system. The hot spot for clairsentients is the stomach. By focusing and learning how to open and close this chakra you will be able to let this ability WORK FOR YOU.
Before you make a decision, go to your stomach area and ask your self, how do I feel about this decision. Your body is ONE BIG psychic antennae. Your body never lies to you and your body is all the equipment you need.
The next ability is clairvoyance. This the inner sense of seeing with your minds eye, or better known as the
third eye. Lots of psychics have this ability. So many of my students want to be able to 'see' when in fact the other abilities are also as strong and useful.
How many of you see balls of light or energy in the corner of your eyes? How many of you dream a lot? Do you walk into a room and know that the furniture does not work where it is? Or, when talking on the phone do you know what that person looks like even before you meet them?
People who are clairvoyant usually also do not wear a watch because they always know what time it is. They can see it in their minds eye.
Please know that when I see a spirit sometimes they appear in front of me but... usually I see them inside my minds eye. Subjectively.
If you want to develop your clairvoyance and you believe this is where your strength lies then please do the following. You do not need any special equipment. Just a small votive candle.
Light the candle (carefully) and stare at it till your eyes water. Close your eyes and you should see the image of the flame right between your eyebrows. This is the
third eye area. What you are doing is strengthening your brow chakra.
Once again, if you have a decision to make. STOP. Go to your third eye area and ask the question you want answered. You may see a word, or a symbol or even a color. You have to determine what it means just for you.
Of course meditation will always strengthen this area. You should try to get a cd or tape that takes you on a journey with your minds eye. Its great practice.

Now the third ability clairaudience �?to hear. This is the inner sense of hearing and the chakra for this ability , believe it or not is the throat chakra. The chakra that is associated with communication.
How many of you have your name called and noone is there? Do some of you hear music in your head? Songs? Next time this happens , please notice what song is being played and the words. It could be a message from someone who has passed or a message for someone close to you.
When my mom, who is still here, wants me to call her she just thinks of me and I hear her voice. Why? Because I am clairaudient and that is my strength.
How many of you know when someone isn't telling the truth? Do you always think inside your head? Are you attracted to loud places and always have the music in the background? Do you know what others are thinking?
Then, my friends, you most likely have the strength of psychic hearing. We all have to find out what our strength is first so we know where to focus our attention and development.
If you have a decision to make then focus on your throat chakra. Put the energy there. Ask the question you want an answer to. You may hear a word or a sentence may come to you.
VERY IMPORTANT - All information coming from a higher source will be positive in nature. Anytime someone is hearing anything negative, then there could be an emotional issue or someone may need to see a therapist.
Your guides and angels also want to help, so ask them. All they want is to be acknowledged and helpful.
A great exercise to develop psychic hearing is to go outside where there are people and sit on a bench or the ground. Listen to people talking close to you , then far away, listen to the sounds far off in the distance. You are training your hearing to listen all at once. When this happens you will notice a space (in-between) where the under tones of psychic hearing can be accessed.
I constantly teach people even on stage that YOU are the equipment when it comes to psychic ability. It has always been there, but society and people have forced us to hide it, ignore it, be afraid of it, fear it. All because we don't understand it. Well, I will do what I can while I walk this earth to take the woo-woo out of psychic. : )
Start off slow when developing, ok? Why? Because the price for sensitivity is sensitivity. You cannot just develop immediately. You have pulled away from what was once natural so it will take time to get back to it. Recognize it and to be familiar with it once again.
Some people call it psychic, sensitivity, clairvoyant. It all is based on energy. We are all made up of energy and everything around us is also. We are all like one big radio. Constantly taking in the signals, we just have to know where our turn on and turn off switch is.
That turn on/turn off switch, ladies and gentlemen, is the chakra system. The 4 things I learned most when studying were these:
meditation
breath
the chakra system
and just doing it.
So many people want to be MORE sensitive and get answer for themselves but few put in the time. You can do this. You can have the answers and guidance you seek. Just try going inward.
If you are having a stressful day and everything is coming on top of you, ask yourself when was the last time you checked in? Inside for yoursel?. So many of us strive for the best cars, the best job, money, relationship. All these are great but you have to also feed your soul, if you know what I mean.
