They tell me pain is the key to opening the doors that have been locked since childhood.  They tell me that clearing those blocks will help me to live freely and fully.
They tell me that not to fear is the only way to experience life
They tell me that pain can be resolved when the fear is overcome.

then why do i feel this way this night....as if night has over taken my world and everything in it is covered in blackness.  I have opened the locked doors.  I have cleared the blocks.  I have lived in fear.  Pain has not resolved any issues.  The pain is not gone from my life.  How can I live my life like this.  Whenever i approach something new..the fear sets in.  I should be more afraid to stagnate than fear itself....ha....i am not!  When you have lived in fear as long as i have, it becomes a comfort to you.  You know what to expect in your life of fear.  You learn how not to make waves, not to rock the boat.

The funniest part of this ....i am posting this in open defiance to my fear of what you will all think of me for posting it!  the jokes on me...judge me as you will.

Pain isnt the key, its just an experience. Clearing blocks... if you mean... facing your own shadow, seeing it for what it is... accepting it, embrasing it and then releasing it then yes.

Pain isnt what we strive for Laurel, its an experience just as joy is an experience.

Go back and read Kellog's Tonic for Tots, that will help.

Pain. Pain doesnt solve issues. Pain doesnt make people feel better. Pain cant increase health. Pain is pain. It is not hurt. Nor love. Nor anger. Nor any emotion. It is pain. It will always be pain. Pain is not fear....to live in fear creates pain...which in turn creates fear.

Once one has pain...then one will never not have pain. It will always be there...its not gonna leave...its not gonna feel better....its not gonna feel like anything but pain. Because all pain knows how to be is pain. Pain just is. The only thing that happens to pain, is that its accepted...dealt with...not worried about. It does not go away. It does not get better.

I dont mean to sound like theres no way out of it....I just mean to say that pain is pain...that its always going to be pain, and that pain cant change. What pain was yesterday, pain will be tomorrow. Pain doesnt get better. But that doesnt mean that pain will always hurt.

Its not the pain that changes.

Its you that changes.

In spite of your pain, you have chosen the name "Laurelovely".  This tells me about your inclinations.

I do not like to aggravate my pain by choosing the darkness.  When I choose the light, my pain pales in comparison.
