View the details of this row. Chi Gung : Chinese Healing, Energy and Natural Magick by L. V. Carnie, Lily of the Valley Carnie
This book is one I often recomend to people looking to start feeling energy.  It is essentially sensitivity training.  The author leans a bit towards becoming so sensitive that you can feel / speak to plants and animals.

If you want to expirament a little with chi gung but arent sure its for you this is a great book that mostly discusses chi gung and health in general but gives some very nice starting chi gung excersizes and instruction.

I found that so far this book has been a nifty little reminder as to how one can keep balance within their life.  This book is full of personal stories and experiences of others and real fantastic for the spirit.

View the details of this row. What's Your Psychic I.Q.? : How to Listen to Your Inner Voice and Let It Guide You to a Better Life by Martha Ivery, Hans Holzer
I have never come across a book that was so poorly named.  This book is awsome for someone that doesnt really understand all the "terms" we use when we talk about psychic abilities, or healing.  It runs thru just about everything from a beginners level and even gives some good excersizes for focus, or increasing your visual abilities and a meditation or two.  I use this one as an all purpose reference manual.  I think this is the second most recomended book I tell beginners about.
