this isn't going to help much hun.....but let me tell what i got as i read LOL

Feng Shui - the fish I saw swimming in a round fish bowl as I read yrou post, and they were gasping for air because they are in the wrong spot.....they symbolise something on a pysical level with you that needs to be 'looked at aform a different angle' and physically changin the way you do something will sort out the disharmony - its like a nurture thing.
I think the maggots represent food on a base level - the basic food we need is air, at the simplest of levels, so keep up with the no smoking (or cutting down if you've relapsed, also using clean aromoatherapy oils around you to keep you energised - peppermint, eucalyptus, lemongrass, anything that helps you clear your tubes and breath easy.
The fish tank i think is just a link to the past, and to something that you know, and is probably there because your mum just moved and to help you to remember the context of the dreams and the fish.
