Biography
IX was formed in late '05 when Shane Mack and The Serial Thriller teamed up together to go against the grain in SEF, to oppose the power and they did just that. They both did great in singles action, but pursued the Tag Titles, though they did not win them and by the years end Thriller would start to slack off a bit it seemed. Viper had just made his return to SEF and so he and Mack took Thriller out of the equation leaving it to them to run over SEF, the two ol' friends. Into the new year of '06 a returning Shane Viper now calling himself Michael McMoney would show up and align himself in IX being an ol' friend of Mack's. The three looked to make it their year, Mack and McMoney winning the Tag Titles and Viper snagging the International title achieve the honor of being a Grand Slam Champ, but in doing so he injured his neck nearly breaking it and was out of SEF and thus out of IX. Mack and McMoney would continue and still make '06 the year of IX despite almost splitting up around March. After winning the World Title from, Whitney Marret, Mack would make amends with her and IX which now had Serial Thriller back in it and newcomer Big Country would go against Mack for this. It came down to a weird tag match with Mack and McMoney, Tag Champs against each other with the titles on the line. Mack and Bubba Ray Dudley would become Tag Champs out of it, but the night before Wrestle X on a special edition of Burnout we would see Impact X stand together showing they are stronger than ever with the lineup of Mack, McMoney, Thriller, Big Country, and Mack's girl Whitney Marret! IX would go on for months reigning over SEF, Mack and Bubba Ray in an intense fued. McMoney would fued with newcomer Chris Orton on and off, and IX would again lose Thriller. McMoney would bring a few girls into the group through the year, but none who made an impact, just eye candy, except Sammy who ribbed McMoney with Mack's help. McMoney would step in a big way when he made a challenge outside of SEF to BUD's Franchise Champion Mat Collins and Mat would accept it. McMoney being Brass Knuckles Champ at the time and both men put up their titles and at When Worlds Collide in SEF they collided. After a great match, the end saw both try to counter the other and then McMoney hit his finisher and won. After the match he would claim the Franchise Title, but then throw it down saying he didn't want it and so he picked up his Brass Knuckles Title re christianing it the SEF Franchise Title. He would however not do so well for a few months getting himself suspended and nearly fired for not showing up to matches. Mack would end up losing the World Title to Bubba in June at Over The Edge, but at the same event Julie who was in IX would win the King of SEF tournament, the first woman to ever do it. Her and Whitney had been Tag Champs a couple times around then and in July, Bash At The Beach, Julie would win the World Title. Mack had been laying low, still lead IX and wrestled, but let Julie and Whitney have the main stage in August at Cyberslam when they fought for the World Title. After a match of year candidate they would prove to be equal as they drew, but after the match McMoney who had been absent showed up with his Money in the Bank contract he won in February and cashed it in. Mack and Whitney kinda shunned him and McMoney would end up winning the World Title accomplishing his dream. After that he took the reigns of IX enlisting new guy Carlos Spencer into the group and an SEF veteran, a wild card in Xanthus. The three raised some hell in SEF, McMoney would fued with Skull, won a prison yard over him although only because he got thrown through the cage to the outside floor. Skull would turn out to be Troy Storms in a weird twist, they still fueded and went into a war games in October at End Of Days. McMoney survived that with his team winning and then rekindled a fued with Chris Orton. At Livin' Dangerously in November they went in Hell in a Cell, but not only would IX run in, but so would Frank E Dangerously's Dangerous Alliance of Destruction and Mesa. McMoney would join the DA as the front man and that is when IX would end its first run.
On February 25th, 2008 IX would reform with Shane Mack at the helm and he would have with him Jordan Brooks and his manager Fate, an ol friend of Mack's, plus a former IX member who helped rib McMoney...Sammy who is with Mack it seems, his valet or more, who knows?! The four make up IX as of right now, their raising a whole lotta hell and causing some chaos, but will IX make as big of an impact as it once did in SEF or can that height never be reached again?
Fate took his leave from SEF thus leaving IX and soon after some issues arose between Sammy and Mack, so Sammy was kicked to the curb by Mack. He would bring in a new girl on his arm, on older, but just as hot Staci Sparx.
