Maybe someone can anser me.  I have been to 2 nutritional consultants, 1 general physician, and 1 OBGyn for an infection that I have now battled for almost one year.  To date I know what it is not and I have reason to believe that it is connected to the consumption of beef.  I eat cheese and yogurt with no problem, but when I eat meat I have a very definite reaction within minutes.
I battled an acidrefux type discomfort for years taking pepcid daily.  I learned that beef, processed beef, contains phosphates.  I spent months asking questions.  I became careful of where I purchased and the acid went away.  I also learned that fresh, raw beef has natural flaveors and salt added as well.  I have also suffered a hormone imbalance as well as other female problems.  Details can be provided.
Then, go back to top, I developed a candidas type infection.  I was treated accordingly.  It came back.  I was treated again.  It came back.  As I worked through my diet, I fasted for 3 days on lebanee, olive oil, and fresh fruit, the symptoms disappeared completly.  We had a barbeque and I ate some lamb and the infection returned with a vengance.
Now, after a month of no red meat what so ever, only chicken and fish, the symptoms are disappearing again.  Also, after almost one year, my cycle has returned.
While the afore mentioned professionals could offer no idea or insight as to my problem, they roll their eyes when I talk about this.  I, currently cannot afford several hundred dollars of testing to see exactly what it is, so I was hoping to find some chat rooms where maybe someone could offer some insight and direction.
thanks,
Candi

Well, you could read the essay about the best practical diet and try something similar. Cooked beef and PUFA-rich oils generate some nasty molecules, so there's certainly a possible connection.
