Lord please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my Mother's arms
and tell her they're from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
but there's an ache within my heart
that will never go away. for my mom who passed 2 yr ago today love you and miss you lots

zoo...this was beautiful...quiet a tear jerker. my mom passed away in may of this year. i feel like my life will never be the same. i love her and miss her dearly.thankyou for this..i will print it out.I am so sorry about your mom. i know the pain you are going through...sometimes unbearable.my mom and dad were married 58 yrs.We just take a day at a time. did you write this poem???it is so beautiful...you will be in my prayers.Have you heard the song "theres a hole in the floor of heaven"its beautiful. try and look it up and read the words...thanks again for posting this. your friend BBE |

Zoob honey? Do you mind if I steal that? I would love to embroider, engrave, or otherwise present it permanently and give it to my niece for Christmas. She and her brother lost their mother in April of 04 and while they do have a new mother, we (new mom included) never want them to forget their first mom. |

You know what so are the other 2 poems I have posted in this room your point is????? not always does someone need the attension I do it to let out the way I feel I have never been questions about the poem before for 1 and 2 its been posted for how long ?? it helps me to deal with something going on in MY life and if it helps me thats all I write them for for your information it was actually my sister that entered them on a site |

The poem is awesome. It's just surprising that anyone writing a poem that good wouldn't want credit for it. I think he was just questioning this because it did look pretty suspisious. I'm sure the explanation will suffice and I'm pretty sure he didn't mean to hurt you for any reason. Besides, it really is all over the internet and credited to author unknown, so yes, you are famous! That's something to be proud of !! |
