ok you have your cards, give them a good shuffle, so there is no way I know how they are mixed...take the cards and deal them one at a time face down, till you feel the urge to stop. when you have decided to stop turn over the top card of the pile now on the table.

 

remember it.

 

turn it back face down on top of the pile.

 

Now I can't see it can I ?

 

lets say for example it was a 9, then deal nine cards on top of it

if it was a jack then 11 cards

a 3 then 3 cards, get it ?

jacks are 11 q 12 k 13

 

now once you have done that pick up the pile and put it back on top of the rest of the cards you are holding in you hand....
