stack of window frames
in a builders yard
port-hole to another dimension
I saw a cat jump in
seconds later re-emerge
decorated in diamonds and emeralds
wearing a crown of gold.

Wasting no time, I jumped in
no ground stopped my fall
60 seconds of speedy descent
until I land with a bounce
on a luxury king size bed.
a catwoman leapt upon me
biting and purring in copulation.

builders went bust
yard sold to property developers
3 storey flats stand there now
and no sign of me
residents claim the place haunted
by a purring cat.

Liked this steve - I see you are a Halle Berry(?) fan - good story, liked the mystery involved in this.

thanks Peggy, yes a move away from food, back to almost childish fantasy. The world is more with imagination!
As for Steve...I think he's happy with his catwoman

thanks Emma. I haven't seen the Halle Berry movie yet, but I;m sure I will, being a catwoman fan.

Hy Steve...loved this, it's so original and fun to end wondering,  but I see you are purrfectly happy somewhere out there with whichever. lol

I haven't seen Halle Berry yet but remember Michelle Pheiffer as 'Catwoman' and she was amazing. A really great fantasy write, I love this, Zy x

I agree Steve...what is the world with imagination and fantasy...I like the fairly tale quality of this, quite refreshing to read, and has of course your special brand of humour all over it.
Halle Berry vs Michelle Peiffer...?
Now that's a cat fight I really would like to see....lol

hi Zydha and lb
thankyou both for your kind comments. I do enjoy these little flights of the imagination. But did i get the title wrong? Should it be portal to another dimension, or is port-hole equally acceptable? Maybe you were all too kind to say? lol

Hi Steve,

Reminded me of 'The Incredibles' movie. Fabulous images, which aren't squashed by your thoughts for Catwoman, but are just made more humourous...not sure whether it's supposed to be, though that's how I saw it.
