The details are not difficult to follow, Lincus, but one has to have the option exposed to be able to use it and I honestly tried it again with serious concentration...and if I could copy the box which comes up, I would, it simply has options of 'Change' or 'advance'...with two little boxes on the bottom line of Attributes 'read only' and 'hidden' available. Does that help to show where my pc is taking me? I can record this one on a lower strength, but did want to try the reduction, as Stella had also, could there be some differences in our machines??? Hy Lincus, I have no problems at all as far as the instructions etc, ans as far as the usual settings go I can select and edit and now even insert longer files, but my only problem is that I cannot get the option to convert beyond the intial choice made when doing the first recording. When I follow stage by stage as laid out in the instructions...I cannot reopen file and then see the option to convert to lower setting. I checked and I have 5.1 but only 1sp....could that make the difference. Hahaha...I have to say that you ae being most patient and helpful, but your copied pages don't help much just above this box, lol Zy |

lol....I thank you Dix for that compliment, but I know what you mean.... Two females diction I have always admired are a) Audrey Hepburn because of it's inherent vunerability quality, and b) Meryl Streep, because of her versatility to make it sound any way she needs to, (guess that's the piscean in me, lol) but...
