Idea no. 1
Near the top at the ballance point, build in a hollow tube so when it comes to a portage, insert a rod or axel through the tube and attach wheeles.  Built in portage system.  What you think?
Idea #2
On the bottom of the canoe or kayak, have a section of plexie glass so you can see the bottom for tresure hunting or fishing.  Cool eh?

RE: portage system.  Suppose you put two tubes aft, two front.  then you could insert rods into aft tubes and two axle supports + wheel into the bow, and use the Kaynoe as a wheelbarrow.  Only one wheel to pack & keep track of.  Use the rods as night-time tent poles.

RE: Plexiglas window in bottom.  Difficult to see it through the kaynoe deck, I would imagine.  And putting it into the "canoe" part would put it behind the paddler, wouldn't it?  This might lead to some rather tippy behaviour on the part of both Kaynoe and its driver.

Down in Texas, longing for the PacNW and water with real fish and trees round it.
