I use the frozen bread dough.. Very simple and easy..
 
Thaw the dough.  let it rise and then punch it down, and then roll it out into a big circle .  Add your sauce, and whatever you want in it.  Then tuck the ends in and roll it.  Put it on a baking sheet and back till done.. Depends on the thickness. I use a 325 oven.

I get the Pillsbury French Bread and roll it out and put whatever I want in it, and roll it back up and bake it that way and then slice it.
