I'm so interested in developing recreation in my home area of southwestern Virginia and find focus to really make this happen.  I dream of hiking and canoeing with other like minded people and seeing the primitive shorelines and backcountry wilderness on your corner of the planet.  We camp and hike in the Appalachians to keep our outdoors skills sharp.<o:p></o:p>

Giles County Virginia needs to become a Rock and Dance throw-down Mecca for east Coast whitewater enthusiast.  I’m working full time to make this happen in my circle of friends and fans. Hey, we’ve got 37 miles of wild river flowing through this county alone, with many nice public parks being developed by all these canoe outfitters and some of VA Tech's Environmentally minded academic clubs and societies.<o:p></o:p>
