Where is paradise?
I have learnt a lot over the past few weeks
I may be older but never too old to learn
I often wondered where paradise is
I have found paradise
It is not outside my front door
It's not in the sky above
It's right here with me all the time
Paradise is where my friends are
Paradise is the caring support of friends
Paradise is the prayers offered when in need
Paradise is right where I sit
It grows with the friendships I have formed
Who said paradise is a place, It is where you heart is
It is the love you share and hold in your heart
It may be friends or family
It may being a helping hand
It may be the words 'I love you'
It is what we hold in our hearts.
Paradise can be a child
Paradise can be the smile of someone you dont even know
I have found today and learned no matter where we all are,
or what we are doing? We are in paradise.
For if I was not here today I would have lost my plight
Looking for something I hold within.
My troubles and fears are just an interuption
I just have to search deep within.
There may be tears also fears
What will life bring
My life I hold in my own hands
Will help from my friends my heart is smiling tonight
A battle I will continue to fight
It may take a while, with lots of help
Dont be frighten to ask friends for help.
I have friends who care, those friends are you
Thank you for showing me just where paradise is.
In my heart I hold you all dear, thats why my heart is smiling tonight.
