Favorites
Hobby / Sport: Football. Plays soccer and runs. Everything she does turns into a hobby. Music - listening and singing in a regional choir. Dance - she took lessons from ballet to hip-hop. Drama.
Class: Besides drama, math.
Color: Pink to wear. Blue in general.
Book: Catcher in the Rye, Go ask Alice, and Lesson before Dying.
Music: Gangsta rap, hip-hop, old punk, satirical music or songs that are humorous. Has to have a good beat, be logical and have truthful words.
Video Game: MarioKart and Crusin' USA.
Holiday: Martin Luther King's Birthday. Doesn't like Valentine's Day.
Comfort Clothes: She's always wearing patterned or checkered pants, a fitted, worn-out shirt, and a studded belt.
Favorite Actress: Britney Murphy, whom Jenna believes doesn't get to show her real talents often, except in Don't Say a Word. She also thinks the entire cast of The Sopranos is great.
Best Experience: On Endurance I, it was lying on the beach, watching the sunrises and sunsets. For Endurance II, lying on the beach in a hammock, looking at the stars. "It's amazing!"
Worst Experience: For Endurance I, it was going home after only four days.
On Endurance II, it was the realization that people hated her for coming back. Jenna honestly thought they would be at least neutral and that some might actually appreciate the significance of having another shot at the grand prize. She did add that Calley and Keetin were okay about it.
Biggest Surprise: How differently people think. The strategy involved. Sometimes, no strategy worked best, like when she just let things flow.
What Jenna Learned: That the game is more about friendship and people, not just playing the game. She made more friends on E2 than on E1. She felt she had to be friends with everyone and worked towards that goal. Later, Jenna realized they were friends forever.
Advice for Future Players: "Be real. There's plenty of time on the beach to be fake. Believe in yourself."
What She does When She's not doing Anything: "I'm never not doing anything, except when I'm sleeping." Jenna's always laughing or moving around and has tons of energy. Some days, she'll get only a couple of hours of sleep and be fine. Even on weekends, she's up by 8:30.
Person Who has the Greatest Influence on Her: Her family. They're supportive. She can trust them like no one else.
Career Plans: Jenna's been modeling since she was two months old. She has no doubt she'll study acting, hopefully at a school known for its acting program.
What was it like when the last three teams left?
"Sad, but felt good." The entertainment was gone. She was really sad about Yellow leaving because she was closest to them. Purple was Brown's biggest competition, so that was kind of a relief.
What was the hardest thing? The most difficult part about playing the game was keeping her strategy to herself. If she had told anyone, it could jeopardize Brown's chances of going to the last round. She also found it difficult to not have her music.
The hardest challenge was the Cherry Picker. She giggled as she described not being able to reach the pole and her lack of concentration. "The balls were such bright colors and I kept staring at Yellow's." That made Max mad. "Jenna, Jenna! What are you doing!?" His shouting snapped her back to reality.
What was it like behind the scenes?
When the cameras were off, there was laughter and singing. They'd go into the showers and sing because the echo was so good. They'd imitate music artists. They had lots of fun. The food was Mexican that the cooks tried to prepare American-style, making it taste weird. But it was "decent." The year before it was fast food and snacks.
You can tell us. What's J. D. really like?
"I love J. D. He is really a real guy. Off the set, he's like a big kid. He's nice and kind. He likes to know who he's working with. J. D. is a great person!"
