20 new contestants but only 14 can stay!! So who went and who stayed?? We found out after the contestants rode to the beach on burros and got a tour of their new home. They got a chance to get to know each other before playin in their first challenge, Drop Out. Contestants had to stand on the end of a platform raised high above the ocean. They were holding on to a metal bar, that if it was dropped too low would make the platform fall out from under you! The first the girls and guys to leave were sent home!! Eliminated were David, Glen, Trey, Abbey, Sarah, and Simone!

Whichever girl and boy caught the same color ball would become teammates. The twists, they couldnt see each other! After the teams are announced they head to the teams poles to receive their pieces, but they get the biggest surpirse. They find out that two contestants from E1 are coming back to form a team! In that case, the first mission will be a temple mission and someone is going home today! The mission is called, Tower of Power. The teams race through a type of obstacle course picking up colored blocks as they go. The blocks they collect must be stacked on top of each other and if they topple the team has to stop and restack them before they can go on. The first team to cross the finish line wins! The competition was SO close with many different teams in the lead but the GREEN team came out with the victory. They have a tough time deciding who to send up the temple but soon decide on Gray and Orange! The concept for the Temple of Fate is the same, wood floats on water, water puts out fire, and fire burns wood! The game is tough but the Orange team comes out with the victory and gets to stay on the beach!

They tell yellow and green they are sorry and decide to leave the Purple team their piece. The Endurance mission is called Fireball. One member of each team stands on the beach with a giant slingshot. The other team member is standing on a platform in the middle of the water waiting to catch the balls. If they catch the ball they get to eliminate any team they want from the game. It comes down to purple and green, but purple eventually pulls out the win earning them the luck piece and the samdhi giving them an even bigger lead. Purple decides to give the samdhi to the Orange team.

It is the 2nd temple mission and someone else is going home. Today's mission is called Rollerball. Teammates take the ends of a wooden plank with a maze on it. The teams take a ball and try and roll it through the maze to the other end where a basket waits. If the ball falls of the side of plank the team must start over from the beginning. The first team to get 2 balls into the basket wins, but since orange got the samadhi they have to get an extra ball into the basket before they can win. Whoever wins gets to pick to teams to send to the temple. It is a close race between brown and green. Brown gets the first ball into the basket but green soon catches up with them and takes over for the win. After a debate about who to send they finally come to a decision and announce that they are sending the orange and the surprised red teams to the temple. At the temple the game is played and the orange team comes out with the first two wins and gains the right to stay on the beach. A crushed red team has to leave but get to affect the game by picking which team gets their piece.

Day 6 -- Tide Pull
JD meets with the kids the next day and give Mike the note left behind from the red team. It says Dear everyone except Mike and Keetin and tells everyone that they want the green team to go home next and that they are leaving their piece to the blue team because they believe that they have the heart and will to win the game. Oh, and we can't forget that they want Keetin to get bit by a chicken! After the reading of the note is done, JD gives the teams a clue about the next mission. He says you will be able to take any team you want out of the game and you can target someone with the help of someone else. When they meet back up again they learn that the next Endurance mission is called, Tide Pull. Each team puts one member in a canoe while the other stays on the beach. The players in the boats will have 30 seconds to paddle out as far as they can, then after their time is up the other members can try to pull any team they want back to shore. Once a teams boat gets across a certain point they are out of the game, this goes on til one team is left. At the beginning everyone heads for blue except for of course the blue team and the orange team. They proceed to eliminate teams until the brown and purple teams are left battling it out, but the brown team eventually takes the win. Their reward for winning is the strength piece, which ties them up with blue for 2nd place, and the samadhi. Before deciding who to give the samadhi to they make a pact with the blue team agreeing to not send them up or give them samadhi, but it turns out they double crossed them and the brown team gave blue the samadhi at the cove. In the samadhi was a piece of paper reading the words *10 seconds* meaning they get a 10 second delay on the next mission.

Day 7 -- On the Ropes
Its the third temple mission and that means someone else is going home tonight! The mission is called "On the Ropes". One player from each team has a rope. They must thread the rope through a serious of poles and the first team to do so wins. You think that sounds easy right? Well the player with the rope is blindfolded! Their partner has to shout out directions to them for them to know where the pole is! This games takes a lot of trust and guess who has the trust piece .. THE BLUE TEAM! However, they also received the samadhi but will there trust let them overcome their ten second delay? They do a good job and ALMOST win but brown pulls it out in the end and if blue had another 10 seconds they probably would have won the mission! So brown has the power to send the two teams to the temple, they know the obvious choice is blue but they have a hard time deciding on the other team, purple or orange! In the end they decide to send the purple team along with the blue to temple. At the temple blue wins the first round but then purple comes back and ties it up. The next decision will decide who gets to stay and purple luckily pulls out another win and gets to stay on the island. Blue however has to head home, but they still get to leave their two pieces, Trust and Discipline, to whichever team they decide! Make sure to watch next week to find out who gets their pieces, who gets control of the samadhi and who they give it to!

Day 8 -- Face to Face
JD Meets with the remaining teams to hand out the blue's left behind pieces. He asks who would like to read their note and Max says he will but JD decides to let Annie read it. The note compliments the brown team for having the guts to send them to temple and give them the samadhi, tells green that they hope they can endure and win it all, and tells purple that they are leaving them their pieces and that they hope either them or purple wins. This gives purple a major lead of 5 pieces to the brown teams 2 and the green, yellow and orange teams 1. The Endurance mission today is called Face to Face. The game goes like this, both teammates stand face to face on platforms int he middle of the water. they are straped to a trusse and then they are holding on to opposite ends of a rope. The trusse rises lifting the players from the platform and hanging them over the water. They hafta endure the pain and hold on the the rope as long as they can. lets go first, then yellow, folowed by orange, then brown that means purple wins the piece and the samdhi helping them a whole lot. Brown spends alot of time trying to talk Annie out of giving brown the samadhi but it doesnt work because they dont think that they can trust the brown team and at the cove they give them the samadhi. Max and Jenna smash the samadhi together and it it there is a piece of paper 2 feet long meaning that in the next mission they will be handicapped by 2 feet .. but what does that mean? stayed tuned for the next episode of Endurance!
