Do you have running programs on your systray that is slowing your computer down.....these are all the icons that sit next to your clock, one way to fix this is to:
click the start button
Click Run
type in MSCONFIG then click ok
Click on Startup Tab
uncheck selected programs (be selective what you take off)
Click Apply, then Ok
The system will have to reboot in order for any changes to take affect, your computer will have to be restarted, when prompted click yes.
You will have to go through the same process when adding programs to the systray.
