Those which have been held deep within

rarely to be expressed to another

waiting to see if some arise from the ashes

or if they are left to float on the wind.

 

To see one who makes a difference,

to see their face light up when you say hello,

their happiness to become your own,

to give that part of oneself that lies

burried deep within.

 

One never knows the thoughts of another

tho they can feel that glimpse from a glance

you wonder if they really know,

or more... if they really care.

 

Others may say they know,

they say they understand

How can another reach that deep hidden point

when even it's hidden to oneself

 

to reach to another,

to care beyond their comprehension

to give totality of the self

to one who has yet to understand

 

A wish to have the heart see

where words can only give a hint

to engulf so completely

to love unconditionally

 

a wish I give

to you that your heart be free

to feel that which may be unseen

and more, that unspoken, buried deep

 

Take this wish,

use it wisely

see that which hides

be open to all that abounds
