I want to thank everyone for the prayers for my brother when he had to be put in the hospital under emergency conditions and a stent placed in an artery. Friday night he was readmitted to the hospital and we don't know yet but, he might have to undergo open heart surgery. This is a man that has been my big brother and like a dad to me since forever. He never ask for anything for himself but, I know that he is afraid or unsure just won't let anyone else see that. So, if ya'll would please say a prayer for him to be healthy soon, I would greatly appreciate it.......God Bless.....love ya'll..........Kay |

Ty Michael William and Tam for the prayers.........greatly appreciated. All that I know right now is that he had blood clots in his heart and they put two more stents in. He was in ICU all day yesterday and last night but, was in a room this morning. He had not talked to the doc as of this morning. He was there from Friday until Monday before they did this procedure. Like I said he doesn't want anyone to worry so he is keeping low profile. GRRRRRR......told him today doesn't matter if he is at the store working, at home or in the hospital I worry.......that's what sister's do right? thank both of ya'll for taking the time to reply. I know I have asked for a lot of prayers but, I truly believe in the power of prayer and I am not ashamed to ask for them. May God Bless each of you..........love ya'll .........Kay |

Thanks everyone. Your prayers meant so much. Doesn't matter if it is just one person posting or everyone. Prayers can be heard no matter the numbers but, I want to ty pam, michael william, tmmgirl for acknowledging and praying for my brother. They let him go home last night. I have not talked with him because I know that he is resting today but, I still need your continued prayers. I heard they have asked him to stop smoking. This is going to be a real problem for him. I thought when my dad died of inoperable lung cancer that he would stop and he didn't. He and his wife are terrible chain smokers. Since his first stent a few months ago he has been trying to do what the doc says but not with the smoking. He had been doing the treadmill at least 30 minutes a day. He is an owner of a convenience store and bbq catering business and hickory smoking business. We finally a few years ago got him to take one day off a week. For him that is good. My father said that if u have never smoked not to judge anyone. I don't judge. I am just not sure my brother will be able to do this and it would mean his wife would have to also. She has smoker's cough and still doesn't stop. I know that both don't have the right attitude to do this. I am praying that my brother after these two incidents will find the strength to stop. He is only 59 and I pray that he will find it in himself for him and his family to do what the doctors say. Once again ya'll know my mom died from blood clots. So hopefully he is thinking of this and will find that strength. He has thrombophlebitis in his legs and has to wear the antiembolism hose and he has diabetes treated with meds. I am asking for your continued prayers for his strength to do what is needed to be.........ty once again for your prayers and your continued support. You are like a family to me and mean the world to me.....May you have peace, love and happiness always.......God Bless..........Kay |
