Cove-Man, we are not primarily a chatty group any more, even though the origins of this group came from MSN's chat room 40s5. Suffice to say the Vent Room is seldom used, and not without trials and tribulations. Long ago we set a certain day and time for members to go in there and chat and even then very few members participated. We finally gave up. The name "Vent Room" has been discussed also, and it was even changed by one asst manager who is no longer with us. The manager (me), and the former manager both felt the name should be returned to "Vent Room". It's like a landmark of sorts.
What we do is, if someone wants to chat in the Vent Room they post a message in General advising they will be in the room, and anybody who wants to chat at that time is, of course, welcome to go in and chat. |
