I hope someone can give me info on suppliers in Canada of 1/8 Baltic Birch. ( approx 10" x 12" pieces) as there are no suppliers here in Newfoundland. The freight from the US plus duty would make it too expensive to buy. I am only a hobbiest.
Also, is there a supplier in the Lakeland, Florida area?  I have a family member
heading there soon and is willing to pick some up for me.    Thanks
Terry

I ordered 40 pcs. (1/8"- 12" by 15") best grade b/bb no patches on 1 side, worked out to $1.75 per pc. inc. shipping. I live in ont. but you should still be able to get it for well under $2.00 per pc.

Sir---
In looking for Baltic Birch I have found some in wood specialty shops or even some cabinet shops.  I pay around $20 for a 5 ft. x 5 ft. piece.  Good luck.

I am in New Brunswick and I got my baltic birch order through Kent.  It took a couple of weeks to come in but there was no charge for the delivery, just had to pay 25% down and pay the rest when it came in.  It came in 5 x5 Sheets and I asked them to cut it into 1x1 sections and they did this for me.  I was very pleased with the service I received from them.  Barney

Hi Barney,
Thanks for responding.  Tried Kents first here on the island and they didn't carry it and a  local cabinet shop that had a hard time trying to locate it.  Andrew's  help with the site he gave seems to be my answer.  I'm expecting my shipment here at any time now at a very reasonable cost. Thanks to all.
