Just a comment - I do print out my own business cards on stock like this and its nice to be able to make changes whenever I want and to print out new one when I need them. I have never wanted more than 1-2 sheets at a time, so its a really low volume project for me.

But I do have a comment - please check prices if you're going to do large quantities - replacement ink for some printers is fairly expensive and it may not be cost effective to DIY. In some cases it may actually be cheaper to have it done at a local shop instead.

Peace,

- Tom

Actually there are better prices on the net at Viking .com
I ordered Geo brand in ivory (harder to get) , 350 cards per pack at $6.99 ea.  With shipping and all they came out to $7.76 total and arrived in 2 days.
If you do alot of printing as I do, these are great.

If you want to make your own business cards and/or brochures you can download the free Avery Design Pro (limited additon) software from http://www.avery.com/us/Main?action=software.AverySoftwareDetail&catalogcode=WEB01&softwarecode=3200 .

Most every brand of paper and card stock has an Avery equivalent number listed on it, so you aren't limited to using Avery products.
The limited addition is fully functional, just missing some pre-made templates, fonts, graphics, etc.

Try going to www.vistaprint.com , they will give you 250 business cards, all you pay is shipping.  If I remember right they had 16 styles to choose from and you can put pretty much what ever you want on them.  You then have a nice stock.  Just be carefull when you are ordering and make sure you only sign up for what you want.  I almost ordered some magnets with my card printed on them.  It is a good deal, the quicker you want the cards, better shipping, the more it cost.  I think the  cheapest was $4.99 for regular mail.  Cann't lose for 5 bucks.
