First of all thank you for accepting me on this site .I am very new to scrolling so to be honest dont have a clue.I have been trying to get a flutter wheel but cannot find one any where.Everywhere I go they look at me as if i come from Mars .Can anyone help me in this ?. Thanks again I have looked at the patterns and dont think I will ever be that good

These are handy too you can cut to length and use like a saw blade if your careful enough

Could you be referring to the Proxxon flap-wheel sander?  Woodcraft stores have those in their catalogs

Go to www.woodworkingshoop.com this is Klingspore's web site and look at what they call sanding mop's. This is what I  use on all my portraits and fretwork.

You can make one of those yourself. You just need a bolt, 2 washers & a nut. Oh & some sand paper. 3 sheets. Fold it in the center & fold it again. Put all three together offset eash sheet. Then cut slits in all of them. Then your good to go.

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, they sell a flutter wheel on Judy Gail Roberts' site - www.intarsia.com.  You will need to make a couple of clicks until you get to tools, but your patience will be rewarded.  Also, if you have any questions while you are there, Jerry is full of free information.
