Be thankful for the chance to lend a hand. Be glad of every opportunity to comfort someone in distress, bestowing hope and happiness, and doing something good for somebody.

 

Consider yourself fortunate when called upon to give your time, your money or your sympathy. To supply another's need is a privilege indeed .... It's wonderful to think that you can be used by God for purposes of mercy and of love.

 

Alas, the willing hands are all too few. The Providential charity must work through human agency. Great is the honour is He chooses you.
