Another learning curve Still I thought I knew everything when it became apparent I could link to Spirit. A friend wanted a reading and I went to her flat to do this for her. I did not feel anything even when I was told that she seen a Spirit being. I asked her to give me something that I could use to focus on. She gave me her necklace and I began to link in with a prayer. It was during the reading that I felt strange as though I was being taken over. I was lucky to have strong helpers in the Spirit world and I stopped the reading. However I felt so uncomfortable that I had to leave the flat. I walked through a short passage hallway and felt as though a Spirit being was pushing me in an effort to stop me leaving the flat. We’ve all heard the saying ‘walking in treacle�and that’s exactly how it felt! I know I was all shades of white and when l got home I prayed like I’d never prayed before. It wasn’t until later that I realise that the flat had a presence. I think either the presence wanted to come through or I was not developed enough and had taken on more than I could cope with. Can you see the difference of both these experiences? It all depends on Spirit, the conditions around at the time of the reading, how developed you are spiritually. It is so much better to get the proper advice from learned people at the local Spiritualist church or centre. There are many very interesting and useful books on the market on this subject so please read all you can about the Spirit world and communication. If you are a bit nervous about learning anything like this or suffer any kind of mental problem then you will be advised not to seek development.
