Lovely patchwork countryside spread over the Welsh hills
Giving a 3D image in the Autumn sunshine
While the colours of the foliage compete for our attention
Surely all this is compensation for the hardship
The struggles, the days when the black mood stays put
Days when weariness takes over and pessimism draws in
Let's blank out the Winter and look forward to the snowdrops
With a promise of Spring sunshine and the first relaxing feel in the air
New growth, fresh optimism, spurring us on to a time of renewed hope
A time to give love, a time to understand.
